posted a message on Eldpack Continued [16x][CTM][Partial Aether]
I was doing manual updates for about 10 minecraft updates to a variant of eldpack I used, as my spawn was built in style using that as the texture pack. I gave up when they switched to "resource packs" - i've private messaged you the details of my variant if you are curious.

Just keep in mind it had diverged from the original quite a lot, as I needed a lot of sci-fi space textures and quite a number of specific textures for objects specific to my server. It was changed so much I ended up renaming it to avoid confusion. It should be considered a very unofficial un-endorsed "inspired by" version - but 1 or two of the textures i used to keep mine up to date might be useful .. or not. Either way may be an interesting comparison between yours and another independent attempt at keeping it up to date. It is not a "released" pack either, it was only ever used on my server. So don't distribute it, people get really cranky about "altering" tex packs as you have seen *points to the last 8 pages* :o )

PS: Good work, i was trying it as I wrote this, it is nice to see my old original looking spawn style back!

PPS: Oddly my variant was getting downloaded thousands of times a month.. (gigabytes worth) and the only place the link was published was in the server.properties so I gather someone went to the trouble of sniffing the link and sharing it around at some point before i scrapped it.. This tex pack is so popular even poor knock offs of it seemed to be popular pfft!

can you make a 32x version seeing as my PC is a toaster

Guys, if you really want 32x just get a texpack editor, like MTE or similar, MTE allows you to create a new texpack at 32x, then load a 128 or better in a second window, and copy the entire thing, or individual objects into the 32x one, it will anti alias downsample it down, and look at least usable.

I did that with the old ELDpack when i wanted to add some tex's from another pack i liked, it downsampled the objects i wanted and saved out fine. Just looks a lot more "fuzzy" when you downsample. Consider yourself warned.

I am thinking of using this texpack myself, but the zombies seem to look terrible to me, not sure if mine patched wrong or not, about to test on another pc i have. If they are meant to look like that ill probably make myself another personal texpack and use the textures for zombies off ZoDcraft or similar that has the sort of zombies i like :P Rest seems nice.. only thing that bugs me is being so high def - why people cant soften the edges of leaves and such more.
