    Stopping!

    SoundSystem shutting down...
    Author: Paul Lamb, www.paulscode.com

Anyone Have any Idea on what is happening?

    Thanks in advance!

I think it may be an issue with Optifine, I removed optifine and I do not crash 5-10 seconds after loading a new world.

    Try allocating 1.5-2 gigabytes.

why would this help? 4gbs is more, and should be running just fine with it.

    Quote from Boex

Hey there! Have you tried changing your mouse sensitivity on Control Panel. This will affect your mouse speed for everything (not just minecraft) but it's a short term solution, until someone more intelligent than me finds one...

Anyway. I assume your on Windows. If so, follow these steps.

    - Go to your start menu
    - Click control panel
    - Search for Mouse
    - This should bring up a window called Mouse Properties
    - Click the pointer options tab
    - Set pointer speed slower!

It sounds like a bit of a hassle but I think that should work...
I'm on Vista so this may not apply for Windows 7 but you should find something similar. Good luck!

I did this, It did not help at all, it was to do with a recent update with windows 7. I simply rolled back past that update.

    Quote from PillowTalk

    None of these solutions work.

Playing Minecraft, even in a window, is now like playing a poorly optimized console port fullscreen with VSYNC enabled.

Doesn't matter what the in-game sensitivity is, it doesn't matter if I remove acceleration from Windows' mouse settings, nor does the registry tweak to completely disable mouse acceleration in Windows work. The problem is in Minecraft itself. My guess is that they added acceleration/vsync to the game, but didn't make it an option that could be altered by the users.

Edit: I'll have to try the F8 thing. That apparently deals with "Mouse Smoothing" which is what mouse acceleration is.

Edit2: Nope. That just makes it even worse. SO PHYSICS, BRO!

It Had to do with one of the recent windows updates. Find the one with a mouse driver update and rollback past it. It fixed it for me on Windows 7 :biggrin.gif:

Me and my friend are trying to start up a server, I have made a server before, My ports are Forwarded. What is happening is when i start up the server my friends can get in and play, but when i try getting in on the same computer that the server is on it wont connect. I did use my laptop and it worked fine. I also had my friend set up a server with his ports forwarded and i can get in but he can not. So did something change in 1.0 that prevents users from getting in on the same server or is there something different i have to do.

    Thank you Very much

    Techh10

Are you trying to connect to the ip? Have you tried Localhost?

Flush your dns, see if you can download it after that.

    Ipconfig/flushdns in a cmd window

Anyone, This is getting unbearable, I have spent hours trying to find a fix. The mouse moves akwardly, sometimes moving very fast, sometimes slow. I have the sensitivity at like 30, and the mouse will still go to fast half the time, and won't move fast enough the other half.

    Thanks for quick response.

I'll use Fraps then, but can it record the desktop? I'm using Win7 Ultimate x64.
Is it good to record Skype conversations at the same time aswell?

You can set it to record a specific window, or the desktop as a whole, It should work fine with skype.

    Quote from Claryn

So you mean my computer would lag while recording with Fraps in Minecraft?

Im running Minecraft with over 1800 FPS on Render Distance: far!

Fraps has some issues with some games, causing lag, or making them load slower, With your specs it should be more than fine.
