Quote fromMine doesn't have the minecraft symbol in it? do I have to place minecraft in that folder?
In the video the install script is minecraft's icon but that makes no difference between them. Just follow the regular instructions

Quote from Captain McSwag »Guys this is what you can do if all goes wrong, this has helped me on various occasions:
On the loader screen press options and force update it will put back everything you need for minecraft to work all the jar files etc. and it will kep your saves....
Does this Installer work for Beta 1.3? because this is the easiest way to install mods I have found
Quote from Drummergeek »Correct me if I'm wrong but I think you only have to delete the version file in the bin Folder. Although if you have anything in the mods folder you may want to clear them out as well.

Open Finder, go to Libraries/Application Support/minecraft and delete your bin folder as well as the worlds WITHIN your Saves folder, not the folder itself. Hopefully you weren't too far into the game, because this will delete your worlds, but it is the only way to fix this problem (as far as I know).
