Made this account just to post this. Curse is not affiliated with Mojang or notch so stop blaming them, Curse is the one who made the rules to this contest.
Also, noone is making you enter this contest. I live in the US and the 2 ways to enter the contest are frankly a hassle and I probably won't be taking part in this contest unless I feel like I really need to go.
If you really wanted to go to Minecon, you'd just buy your own ticket to it, pay for airfare and get a visa if you're from outside the US. It's not like your chances of winning the contest are even decent. Stop complaining about a contest which is virtually free and giving away things they really don't OWE you.
