I suggest using a command to shorten the AI somehow to make the wolf not attack how it usually would, and make it so there are different blocks that represent particles. Good point, i have a tip. Well, if you have mods then you may be good... if not, then you have lag spikes. Try raising all your settings to MAXIMUM capability on 1.7.10. It works for me!
