How to light the portal without Flint & Steel
It is actually really easy, if the wood burns out before it lights, try again
The rest will be in spoilers, each step in a separate spoiler
First Step
First, set up the portal (I wasn't in SkyBlock for this, therefor had 14 obsidian not 10)
Second
Set up the wood, and a little barrier so the lava doesn't go everywhere
Third
Place the lava down, let it catch fire to one of the planks, then grab it back up
Fourth
Both planks should be burning..
Fifth
The portal should be lit, if not - try again

Hi guys, Vechs here! I started making custom stuff for Minecraft back in 2010, and the Super Hostile series is my best-known contribution to Minecraft fans everywhere!
The main objective of my maps (aka custom Minecraft worlds) is to find and complete the Victory Monument. This is a structure with slots on it for blocks. To win a Super Hostile map, you must place each of the requested blocks in the appropriate slot on the Victory Monument. There are 16 colors of wool blocks to find, and also in older maps, the 3 material blocks, of iron, gold, and diamond.
CTM stands for Complete the Monument, which is the genre my Super Hostile series created. Unlike Adventure maps, which typically have very rigid rules and restrictions, CTM maps are about playing Minecraft in a mostly normal fashion, but with a goal to work towards.
For the most part, Super Hostile is like playing Minecraft normally, but it's more difficult and you have a long-term goal to work towards. Also you may find yourself in some unusual terrain. Oh, and the map is designed to kill you, so keep that in mind.
Going forward, Super Hostile maps made after 2020 now also require a custom modpack, which can be found here:

Better Than Wolves is a "total conversion". This differs from most mods that you are probably used to in that it changes many of the rules of play to provide a richer experience, rather than just adding in new stuff. What makes it special however, is that it always attempts to do so in a way that retains the original spirit of the game, perhaps even more so than the newer official releases.
It focuses both on challenging survival play, and player creativity in terms of never providing "magic block" solutions to in game problems. Instead, it provides basic tools and leaves it to the player to figure out how to use them to get the job done.
In short, Better Than Wolves is a vision of what Mincraft could have been, designed by a very serious player, for other like minded individuals.

About - This mod has been around since April of 2011!
This mod adds player ages and genders that have their own hurt sounds, models and textures. Zombies also have genders and textures based on the zombie's age and gender combination. Use this on your server to synchronize all the settings for each player across all connected clients!
Player Genders - Males: Just like normal Minecraft, but with the old hurt sounds!
Player Genders - Females: Are slightly smaller than males, have their own default texture and have their own hurt sound.
Player Genders - Other:
Can be used as more gender-less or non-binary option. Like other
genders, this has a default texture unique to this option. Players can
choose their model.
Player Ages - Children: Are smaller, have their own default texture based on gender and age, and have a higher pitched hurt sound.
Player Textures: When player doesn't have a set skin, a default texture is used. Textures are based on the age and gender combination.
Zombie Genders: There are occasional female zombies.
Zombie Textures: Textures are based on the zombie's age and gender combination.

• I don't see the model or texture changes
Another mod you have installed may conflict with Gender's core modding. This should not happen. Gender uses core modding to inject it's hooks into Mojang code before Minecraft starts. If another mod has replaced or removed specific things in the code, there may be issues. Should this occur, it's likely that Gender isn't the only incompatibility that the other mod has. All modders should use it sparingly and inject code instead of replace code to maintain mod compatibility.

Please press 'G' (default key) to open the Gender menu. Then click on the button that looks like a book with a question mark. This will bring you to a screen that has information helpful for troubleshooting. When sending me a message, you may also want to list the other mods you have installed as one of them could be causing the problem.

Actually, people who don't want to use ModLoader with no proper reasoning shouldn't get any help. Mostly because they are too stubborn to learn java before trying to make mods so they will just keep bugging on for every single fail they make in their "code".

Edit to your liking then use ItemFoodNew instead of the normal one.

I personally don't like MinecraftForge but it works. There's also an api called "ItemSprite API" by Scokeev.

I suggest you NEVER post that ******** again. Those videos are a MAJOR reason to why the modding community is so messed up. People find them and think they can become good at java with listening to some idiot say stuff in a video. Can you learn English from a set of noob videos? NOPE, you can't, same goes for java, English is just like java, C++, C, C#, VB etc etc.
