I'm a bit skeptical that this is totally legit...usually new terrain generation only affects ungenerated chunks.

Pretty cool though.

Awhile back I found that gold pickaxes were the best for mining coal/smooth stone. I'd still prefer diamond though...it's classy :biggrin.gif:

Sounds legit, bro.

I have banned numerous people through MCBans for griefing, hacking, etc. It seems that one person decided to "get revenge" and set up a hamachi server, register it with MCBans and ban ME for griefing, even though I had never played there.

The system is too easy to abuse....do a /lookup of Notch or Honeydew next time you're ingame.

I like the idea of having a cape selection thing similar to TF2 hats. Perhaps there could be a few different choices, and then special ones (MineCon, Alpha, Beta, etc) that can only be unlocked by eligible players.

As an Alpha player, I'd like to see some of the "special content" promised to us :biggrin.gif:

Hello everyone!

So obviously I was super pumped for Minecraft 1.0.0. It finally came out, I played around a bit, and then went to my true passion in Minecraft: Multiplayer. Now, I haven't had this problem before, but since the 1.0.0 update I have suffered crashes. I'll be playing for a few minutes, and then the screen will turn to the dirt background. About a minute later it goes black and crashes.

Here are my specs:
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
4GB RAM
nVidia GeForce GTS 450 1GB (drivers fully updated)
Java 7 64bit


What I have tried to fix this:
- Increase heap size (via a RUN.bat file and on the java runtime parameters)
- Set process to high priority
- Completely uninstall java from my system and reinstall Java 7
- Delete my whole .minecraft folder
- Delete and redownload Minecraft.exe
- Update LWJGL


If anyone has a solution for me, I'd really appreciate it. Sometimes the crashes occur every 10-15 minutes, other times they happen every 20-30 seconds. It's getting unbearable and starting to make me lose interest in the game (something that hasn't happened in over a year).
