The mod says connected and I can chat to my channel from within the game. I have twitch chat on..but text spoken in my channel does not come to my channel. This is 1.4.7 FTB.
My 1.5.1 one works flawlessly so props on that =D

I just noticed it breaks REI'S MINIMAP for SMP for tracking mobs and such on 1.5.1
I noticed twitch chat has been derping recently. Reconnecting one or a couple times should fix the 1.4.7 bug.
Also 1.5.1 Rei's Minimap looks to be working fine on my end. Make sure the server has mob tracking/cave mapping enabled.
Well I was wondering if you could just add it as an option into this mod, a toggle in the menu. But I understand if you'd rather have a separate mod. I love the twitch chat integration, but I primarily do my streaming on livestream ever since one of my friends got banned from watching twitch.
I will look into Livestreams' chat and how it works. Once I figure out how it works I might add it to the advanced connection options coming soon.
So am I the only one getting the IOException Error still? How do I fix?
I currently do not know what is causing this problem except putting in something wrong. Can you connect to TwitchTV IRC through any other IRC client? Download something mirc or xChat. And follow one these tutorials http://www.justin.tv/p/irc_guide and see if you can connect. I hear some DNSs do not work properly with twitch's irc url. I am putting in a advanced connection that you can pick from different ips and connect that could fix the problem.
Help, I have problems with the twitch tv mod I dont have the TwitchTV IRC Button In-game
Im using FTB ultimate and I already tried installing it for 1.4.7 from edit mods > JarMods

Make sure you installed the correct version and look in the correct spot which is in chat right side compared to a old version which was in the pause menu.
Also make sure you remove ForgeIRC

Added threading for login so no freezing gui when logging in.
Fixed colors being able to show up in chat when posted by a user.
Replace current viewers with a whole current stats page.
Added a Easter Egg for Easter.
Added version checking so if update is released then it will notify once in chat!
Made lowest Forge allowed 7.7.0.0
Added a logo made by Marnidawg.
Added a viewers list, note very buggy!

hmm weird when i want to download the 1.4.7 my anti virus blocks it it says its infected?
any reason? maby a corrupt file or something?

Why switch to Forge?: I switched to Forge because alot of people use Forge so I know it should be not too big of a issue even tho some people dislike forge. The big reason I switched to Forge is because alot of people were wanting the 1.5 update but I barely had time to put in the baseclass less feature. So I turned to Forge because they now have runtime deobfuscation. Which basically means this mod will work with future releases of Minecraft and will only stop working if Forge makes a major change.
