And now because of the changes being too hard you want him to stop allowing his kid to play the game? That's a bit harsh, the kid loves the game, and understood it well enough before 1.9 for it to not be an issue. As a father, you should realize how upsetting that would be for the kid. Not to mention I bet the OP and his kid get to spend some quality time bonding together and having fun over minecraft, again something you should understand being a father. You think that should be taken away?


It's really sad to see some of the posts on this thread showing hate towards a kid just trying to have fun.

It's not an embarrassment to either. Yet it is still overall a poorly played game. I do love the combat, but as the game is, it was a wasted feature. Most of the game is just an audiobook with animations, with gameplay added in to disguise it as such. It was a great marketing ploy, so I do agree that it should have been done, purely for the monetary value. Otherwise, I don't like it much. This isn't saying I hate it though, I don't really care if it's here or not, just not my cup of tea.

You won't find something like that for free. Especially a quality server.
But if you want cheap, FadeHost is a good one. I used to use CloudFrost, they have nice servers with mod support.

I awake, as is usual, in a deep pool of magma, far under the earth surface. I notice something strange about me though. I have some kind of... feeling. I can move! I swim up the molten liquid, reaching the large cavern. I slowly slide along the stone until I reach the open air. I am in an unfamiliar flat plains biome with grass all over. There are no trees, nor villages. I start heading to the jungle I see in the distance.

I'd like some actual hair to go along with the 'tufts' and the facial hair. That would be nice. But other than that, this is a wonderful idea!

Hello! I was reading through the rules of many RPs that looked interesting, and I couldn't help but notice that all of them were balanced. This is usually a wonderful thing, but in this thread, it's the worst! This is a forum game based solely on overpowered and unexpected attacks. It takes place around medieval times.

If you are confused about anything, don't hesitate to ask questions.

There are still a small handful of rules however.

1. This thread lives up to it's name. You can do anything, as long as it continues the story.

2. Follow the regular forum rules, of course.

3. You can counter any attack or break any defense if you are creative enough.

With that out of the way, I will start.


Tornil, Dragon Rider, sits in meditation in the Grand Temple. He calls his soulbound dragon, Raliiston, with his mind. He dons a simple dark brown tunic with a blue rune engraved in the chest. The hood is over his face, normally revealing nothing but two glowing blue eyes, piercing through the dim sunlight of the temple, though now they were closed. His spirit age is marked as 5,206 years. Mortal age unknown. He senses a mysterious and powerful presence. He opens his eyes. "It has come."

It makes no sense, but why the heck not?

What are your powers: Very resistant, with exceptions. Strong and hard hitting.

What are your weaknesses: Slowness. Weaker to diamonds.
