Installation
Windows:
1) Open up %appdata%, if you don't know how to do this, start>run, then type in %appdata%
2) Browse to .minecraft/bin
3) Open up minecraft.jar with WinRAR or 7zip.
4) Drag and drop the necessary files into the jar.
5) Delete the META-INF folder in the jar.
6) Run Minecraft, enjoy!

Sorry, I'm a little idiot, but anyway, I don't understand this. When I have to open up minecraft.jar , do I just double click it? Or do I have to download WinRAR or 7zip?
Also, "Drag and drop the necessary files into the jar." Does that mean I just have to drag it into the minecraft.jar folder with the bin, mods, resources and that stuff in the folder? :unsure.gif:

A lot of people are saying 1.8 is coming on the 16th of September. Some say 20th or longer, even. Some are saying tomorrow. Some are saying early September. I don't think there is an actual release date.

OMG yay! I can't wait for 1.8!!!!!
When will there be an official minecraft for the iPhone and iPad?! I'm dying to see one!!!!

If he's not sure if you can talk to NPC's it means they aren't finished yet, not simply excluded from the demo.

Either way, it's Jeb's work, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see what comes, eh?
Let's just hope the NPC's don't turn out pigmen. O.O

Well, let's just hope we don't randomly walk in to a NPC village filled with pigmen. That would be veeeery awkward. Especially when they start oinking at you...

Either way, Notch really needs to add more creatures, like the one in Mo'Creatures mod. But yeah, probably it will be better. It'll keep people entertained for like, 2 minutes and then they'll start complaining they want more. :/
