He only said that MCreator could be used for laying out items not programming the mod and the guy was hired as a tester not programmer. also he has been working on the mod. some mods do take more than one person to make. As well as this
Are you seriously hiring people that say they use MCreator, and you want programmers? MCreator doesn't require ANY programming knowledge whatsoever. Besides, why can't YOU work on the mod?
i work my hide off with this mod, i have gotten a PC just for it! i was up all night working on it a few days ago....anyway, i know about MCreator, i havent hired ANYBODY that uses MCreator as a programmer, so lay off..
i am currently working on a full PC game for steam, if i dont update this for a while, that is why, if you would like to keep updating the mod for me, PM me.
OK. I have two or three questions about this mod.
1. Is repairing your sword (items) still the same or did you have to change that up a little. If it has been changed how so.
2. Does the anvil (making your sword and items) only work with metal or does it work with other material like stone or diamond.
no, i think repairing should stay the same,
for now, the anvil works with all ores
Spend a little less (like no) time bashing everyone else's mods. It comes off as a bit arrogant. You catch more flies with honey, and all that.
Speaking of making a good impression, you probably shouldn't Capitalize Every Single Word In Your Description. It tends to generate this kind of reaction...
This one is just a technical thing...why use a bucket to quench? The cauldron makes more sense, and needs more uses.
Okay, i will work on all of these, thanks for pointing it out
I love this idea. I think you should also make it so that armor should be made this way as well. along with some of the tools.
not to long ago I had a similar idea but not nearly as in depth. http://www.minecraft...ms-are-craftsed/
this puts my weak attempt at a mod to shame but I am glade that some one thought of it.
Armor sounds like a great addition! i will add that to the mod! if you ever want to help on the mod, just ask
This idea needs more support! And I'm not just saying that because I have almost the same idea!
I'm learning programming and modding, and I may apply to help soon, though it will be limited as I also want to help another mod and make my own. Although this mod does not sound overly complicated.
I have a few questions about the concept though:
Is the hilt crafted on the crafting table or the assembling table?
Is the forge one block? I imagine it as a furnace with a timer that decides whether or not it's been in too long or not (trial and error for the player).
Also, will the forge have a bellows block that needs to be placed next to it? I know forges use bellows, but I don't know too well how it works.
The anvil should also have a use still. Perhaps while the metal is hot we need to strike it with a hammer a certain (unknown) number of times. I'm not too sure how forges work, but I know it's more than smelting, cooling and crafting.
Okay, the hilt I'm thinking should be crafted at a crafting table using a diamond stick iron stick etc.
The forge will be one block expect that to use it you must have a bellow block placed beside it, it can be a auto red stone or manual.
And yes, once you take the blade out you strike it a number of times depending on which ore you use... I forgot to mention this in the description...oops

Nice ideas, but what are horseshoes for in this mod?
i learned that blacksmiths were the main suppliers of horseshoes, i think that they would fit nicely in the mod if we can program it in 1.6, the horseshoes would give the horse more speed.

i have this problem MANY MANY times.
it might mean you have to many mods installed, may i ask how many?
if not.
then it probably means that two or more of your mods aren't compatible together.
Hope i helped,
