    You could play on max everything with steady FPS and no lag spikes.

    I rather enjoy it then.

    $1162 + shipping i couldn't find any good prebuilts even at that price, they were overpriced by a good $200+ and they didn't even have good processors, FX-8150 is horrible

    So, sir. On a scale of 1-10 for playing BF3 on ultra would this be? I bought the game but my current computer can't run it without extreme lag (On lowest settings!)

    i could, but you could save a good $300+ if you build it yourself, and it doesn't even take long nor is it even that hard, maybe 3 hours to get it assembled? hardest part is getting cables out of the way, though i'll take a look and see what i can find for prebuilts, whats your budget?

    More around $1,000- 1,100 than 1k-2k...

    no, you can build a computer 3x better for a fraction of the price, DO NOT GET IT, there are better prebuilts on newegg for far less then an alienware with the exact same specs minus the crappy case

    ~~~EDIT~~~ oh god i clicked the link *sanitizes ethernet cables and phone lines*
    That bad, huh?
    But at his budget he easily can get one, and why not? It is just fun to know you have the best or one of the best cards out there.
    i5 2500k will last for at least 1 more year, it is really excellent, and intel's new processors will be coming out on the same socket, so if you want to upgrade you can.
    <33 I'm going to settle on the one you reccomended <3
    This will max out any game out there easily. It has the best single gpu available and an awesome processor for gaming, and it is well under budget. All you would have to do is pick out a case and you're done.
    i5 2500k $230 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115072
    MSI radeon 7970(this is the only one in stock) $580 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127645
    Asus p8z68-v $180 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131792
    G.Skill ripjaws 8gb(2x4) $47 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231428
    Western digital caviar black 1.5tb $180 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136793
    XFX pro 750w $130 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207016
    Asus disk drive $19 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827135204
    Coolermaster hyper 212+ $30 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103065
    Total minus case - $1,396 + $50-$150 for case = ~ $1500
    This would max any game and all these manufactures are good quality. Case is always personal preference, which is why I never include it in builds.
    Oh ya add windows thats $100.
    Thank you sir.
    Case - $105
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119197
    Total - $1250 for a good build that will last a while. No need to buy a 7970 for the games you play.
    How long do you think this CPU would last until it just gets out dated?
