One Sentence Summary: A very powerful mob that wanders Arctic biomes.
Physical Description or Picture: Large white bear.
Under what conditions does it spawn: Only in Arctic biomes, day or night it doesn't matter.
Behavior: Hostile
Rarity: semi-rare
Drops: bear hide, this would be used to make armor that is in between leather and iron. It would also give protection from the cold (If that would be implemented)
Why should it be implemented in Minecraft: Make Arctic biomes more dangerous (as it would be tough to kill). As well as add more fun to the game.
I agree with all except for netherrack and redstone. The netherrack should only provide 20 seconds, and redstone should only provide 20 as well, but other than that it's good.
1. this was mentioned before, if you die it's essentially starting a new game. Like someone mentioned your new spawn point should be somewhat near where you previously died.
2. If you have friends that play the game and you want to meet up with them it would take YEARS to find them if the world is 8x the size of the earth.
3. Only a million people have bought the game. If this were to implemented in the late development a few million more will have probably bought the game. Even then, on a world 8x the size of the earth with only a few million people playing (Less considering not everyone would be on at a time.) it would be very hard just to find another person, let alone a village.

3. better software, and no junk software or trials.
4. You can run Windows on a Mac, and there are programs like WINE that allow you to run some Windows programs on a Mac.
5. Risk of getting a virus is much lower (Though that is only because less people use Macs.)
6. Last longer, greater durability.
However, there are two things I like about Windows.
1. Cheaper, and you can get better hardware for the same price.
2. Compatible with more software.
As for linux, I cannot say because I have never used it.
