I really love this idea. I've always kinda thought of MC as an (almost) infinite box of Legos with some monsters thrown in, lol.
What I would really like to see is something like random boxes of blocks reflecting the rarity of different blocks in game. It would kinda make them collectable and trade-able.

Regardless of what happened though there's no way Notch could be in the right here. He simply should not have said anything about it online until he had talked to the Yogscast about it. As a game designer, I have a lot of respect for Notch. But, as the leader and "frontman" for a company he's really not done so well. If he was just an average con-goer comments like that wouldn't matter but as a representative of Mojang he has a lot of influence on the opinions of the community. He should really think more before making posts that could hurt the image (and possibly livelihood) of another party. He has apologised for being a **** but really it's something that shouldn't happened in the first place. -

I really love the new terrain generation. The worlds are looking really nice, IMO. The biggest problem I'm having is the horrible framerate. In 1.7 it was rock solid with really great framerates on fancy and max distance. Now it feels like I'm getting about 5fps, lol. -

I don't think it's really a case that Bethesda can win but the thing is... they don't have to. As is often the case with copyright it's really not in the best interest of the accused to take it to court. It would be a big effort and would cost tons of money just to fight against a huge company that has money to burn. In the end Mojang will end up changing the name even though they're not, IMO, in the wrong. Basically, it's the big guy flexing his muscles and forcing the little guy to step in line.
The funny thing about all this is that it's only a WORKING TITLE for a game that's not even released yet. Like I sad before, the whole thing is pretty damn silly. - To post a comment, please login.

In the creative world we have protected plots and griefing is not allowed. If you need something protected or need land cleared off for a big project just ask me or one of the admins.

As much as I'm an Elfin Lied fan I wouldn't go quite that far. It's a good one but I wouldn't say it's just the best ever. Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is another great one. There's just so many I could list here really .... Clannad is great if you want to laugh and cry at the same time. Black Lagoon is a good one if you like action. Eden of the East is something kinda light-hearted but with a great story and characters. Serial Experiments Lain if you want something that as bit of a mind****. Captain Harlock for old-school epicness.

Anyway, the year I started to kindergarten my cousins gave us a hand-me-down Atari 2600. The only games I remember playing on it were Combat and Warlords but I was hooked. Been gaming ever since.
