posted a message on Reasonable Realism - It's a pack, its a mod, it makes things hard! Updated for 1.11 and 1.12!

It seems that COG has officially updated to 1.12.2 now, could you please mark the mod on curseforge to be on version 1.12.2 instead of 1.12.1 so one can download them in the curse launcher?

I definitely will, thanks. I'm still hoping to push this mod forward at some point.

I have a PhD in chemical engineering, if you need anything regarding the models, I'd be glad to help.

Is item registration broken in the latest version?

with 1.0.9 things works fine, but after updating to 1.0.10 only blocks can be registered.

Also default config does not generate with 1.0.10

    maybe like this?

HSLA steel isn't one specific material but a variety like regular steel so the process is different and depends in what do you want the steel for

EDIT: i don't know if the image is actually there it appear on the editor but here it is the link >.>

This one is on wikipedia so probably the first thing I saw.

I know someone who works in non-organic materials, apparently it's not as simple as "melt all the stuff together".

Does anyone here know how HSLA steel is made in real life?

Tried to look for it on the internet, but failed to find a "protocol"

I think that it's rather the common spirit that matters, but it depends on your decision

    Disregard last.

Solution was to upgrade from forge-1.7.10-10.13.4.1558 to forge-1.7.10-10.13.4.1614.

    Now onto another issue.

Reika's mods are all about what Minecrash should be about. That is pushing the envelope. Bored drills at insane rates of speed, power sources with huge RF power outputs, etc. Unfortunately when it comes to play ability this all goes to crap. A friend of mine plus myself find ourselves running into a performance issue when attempting to launch a 1.7.10 server for just 2 players. Since Cauldron, KCauldron, Thermos and others engines are not compatible with Reika's mod's for "reasons of plenty". Is there some specific setup of the server that I am missing that will allow for 2 people to play on a server with Reika's mods active. NOTE: we want to fully utilize each mod to its fullest extent.

Please share your knowledge if you have some.

    Thanks

Try use warmroast to pingpoint the source of the problem

    Hello noogenesis,

Recently I've been working on a technical terrafirmacraft pack. It shares many common goals with this mod, like realistic style progression, chemistry, engineering, space exploration, etc.

Here is a flowchart for the petrochemical production system I've designed: http://i.imgur.com/MmDTHyG.jpg

In fact I would like to know if I can use PFAA as the pack name, since it matches best the goal.

    Thank you!

Hello reika I also found a bug is the blast furnace heating problem!
The use of an aviation fuel engine and a helical gear can directly lead to the maximum temperature of the blast furnace!
But the use of an aviation fuel engine and a base gear can only reach 1200
This is a BUG bar! I use the number 1234 to indicate the order of the graph.
The bug version of RotaryCraft prior to the present RotaryCraft 17b has been present.
Can you give me an explanation? Is it BUG? Or deliberately stay? ?

    1. Stop using an insanely outdated version for bug report
    2. Stop using other people's name as account name

    3. Use pastebin.com or gist.github.com for reports, or at least put them in spoilers

So I had to revert to a save from before turning on my Fusion Reactor, due to something causing so much lag that the game went into permanent limbo. Nothing would load past a chunk in front of me.

I have Railcraft World anchors positioned to make sure that all parts of the Fusion Reactor stay online, but this began as soon as I attempted to leave the Overworld and spend time in an RFTools dimension. I noticed that the game started to lag more and more, but by the time I went to investigate, it was too late.

I was under the impression that keeping the reactor chunk-loaded would prevent backups or piling up of entities (the plasma balls?), as those are the only things I can think of that would cause a slow buildup to complete lagging out of the game. I've not had this issue with the Fission reactors.

Being that it's a Fusion Reactor, it's surrounded by Neutron Absorbers, and they are also chunk-loaded, so there shouldn't be any neutrons piling up. I'm assuming the Absorbers still absorb 100% of neutrons, since I haven't seen any flying out since turning it on, but I'm stumped otherwise.

REC fusion plasma could escape containment if TPS<20, so other than neutrons theoretically they could also accumulate on the boundary of loaded chunks

    Try /cofh killall plasma
