posted a message on I think the trident can also have an enhanced version, and can add new ways to get iron in nether.

This trident costs 144 ancient debris. This is by far the most expensive item to exist in Minecraft. And the reward is an object worse than your standard enchanted bow.

If you have to put glass shards in a furnace, you might as well just put sand in a furnace.

I can't find these blocks currently as my creative world is quite large. I know I was building with note blocks, dark prismarine, and the 1.17 materials. Is there a way to search for note blocks or dark prismarine with a command?

I found it by wandering around the creative world further. Here's some information:

    -The dirt is now grass

-The grass the blocks used to be on varies from light levels of 5 to 0.

I did some playing around in a 1.17 snapshot on my creative world, and when I went back to 1.16 the new blocks were replaced with air, but strangely the dirt they were placed on never turned into grass.

posted a message on better enchanting and make more useful than villger trading

The lectern replacing is probably the most boring of all the steps, and I've even made suggestions about it:

    https://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/minecraft-java-edition/suggestions/3041483-predetermined-librarian-paths

But the enchanting table is just as much of a meaningless lottery. But the preparation they require is what makes it interesting. Building a villager trading hall, luring a zombie in to cure them, mining clay for emeralds (or whatever else you might do) Also, the cleric already sells lapiz.

Villager trading should be more useful. It's more interesting and takes more work.

posted a message on Predetermined Librarian Paths

Currently getting a book you want from a librarian is a tiring process. You are left with only one option: Break and replace the lectern hundreds of times until you get the trade you want. This implementation should add some clarity and options to how to get the book you want from a librarian: Predetermined Trades past novice rank.

Here's what I mean. At novice level, each librarian villager acts the exact same as they did before. They will select a random enchanted book to trade with. However, the next level will check what the novice book trade is, and act on this. For example, if a villager sells projectile protection II as its first trade, its second trade will also be some form of protection, whether regular protection, fire protection, blast protection, or a different level of projectile protection. This would allow the player to see certain trades and continue leveling this villager up, which is more engaging and more balanced than rerolling the lectern. Here is another example of librarian "types" I could see:

    Sword:

    -Knockback

    -Looting

    -Fire Aspect

    -Sharpness

    -Bane of Arthropods

    -Smite

As you can the player is still not guaranteed to get the trade they want due to the largeness of these types. This leaves the random factor in place, in a more engaging way.

posted a message on Fletching table's function and new arrow idea.

Even if it only works on crossbows, it makes any other arrow you can put on a crossbow entirely irrelevant.

posted a message on Fletching table's function and new arrow idea.

The glass arrow is absurdly overpowered and nobody would ever use any arrow outside of niche situations because of this. Put sand in a furnace and your bow doubles in strength.

Colored light is possible. Step into complete darkness, drink night vision, and activate redstone ore. It produces a red light.

Well nevermind, that's not a thing anymore. I must be hallucinating.

About: I'm a builder who's been on java for around 2 years and bedrock 2 years before that. In spite of my experience I'm still pretty bad at redstone, but I think I've got everything else down. I'm in a group with SamWichi and Nikill.

Hurt them a bit before they reach you with fall damage or lava so that they take less hits to kill, and add an item filter so you don't have to spend all that time sorting. It sounds like alot of work but I assure you it pays for itself after around 5 double chests of manual sorting

posted a message on What does your Nether network look like?

It is a 3 tall, 2 wide 2 netherrack clearing. There is blue ice on one side so you can ride in a boat faster than elytra flight. The blue ice is replaced by a non-ice block whenever there is a nether portal to stop by, so that you don't fly past your destination.

    Efficient? Yes. Good-Looking? No.
