He means he was hoping it was in print, not an E-zine, but those are still cool too, but I'd pay for a good Minecraft Magazine too.
Really nice work, I really liked the design and layout of it, well done, but one question, it says on Page 6 a review of Painterly, yet all I see is a review of Invedit, did I miss something? :ohmy.gif:
That's hopefully what this leads to. The Raw files of this are magazine size and 300ppi so that means that they are ready for professional printing!
Ummm... You just noticed a gaping hole in the magazine.... how did that happen???
Would it be possible to make it available as a downloadable PDF file? It would be great to be able to take it with me to read at work, where I don't have online access.
It looks pretty impressive and I can't wait to read it all. Props to everyone that made this happen!
Yep! just click on the "download PDF" button on the top of the window when reading the magazine.
Edit: Maybe you could write some stuff about big creations... Functional or decorative
And also, why is the "What this Minecraft thing?" article almost at the end of
it? Shouldn't it be at the very beginning? Oh well, just my opinion
Yeah it probably should but we are still pioneering the style and organization of the magazine so it'll be some time before we have it just right :smile.gif:
Yes we do with to expand our sections and cover more topics. The only reason this issue is so... "small" is because it took alot of time to do all the other work. I created a forum, recruited and organized a team, decided on a style, created sections, organized the magazine, began writing and proofing, etc (the list goes on and on) for the first 10ish days! so we really did rock and roll for the past 2 weeks to get this out!
This has been quite the experience! Restless nights, brainstorming during the day. Crunch time! It couldn't have been possible without my amazing staff! Check it out and give us feedback!

Hah, Wookie how good u think my new world is? *i died while afk dammit!* My items did vanished and i haven't built a shelter yet, But the island looks kinda nice.
Haha it looks like a boat almost =P Thats crazy how its a perfect rectangle
started today, first thing to do-terramorping, then mining, then cover it with glass, them migrate. i already have a farm and a miniforest, but how do i get grass?
I believe grass only spreads. So if you destroyed all the grass dirt blocks on the island you can't get grass again.
This is true. I did this to myself the first time haha :sad.gif:
Just try today, because I think that only survival seem no goal for me. So I'm decide to make some objective.
- Making well-done underground/sea tunnel to another island with at least 2 diamond blocks at each side of the tunnel.
Warning - Bad sentence and gamma detected.
I wake up badly today only to see myself alone, no one else in this lonely island. My head hunt a lot. I slowly stand up and look around for and clue why I'm here, but nothing can answer me. I have only single tree and some cactus as a friend here.
I can see a land very faraway from this small island. What should I try to swim? Let's see how far can small creature like me can swim. But shortly after I start thinking about it. I notice lot of fish in the sea. They look very happy as if they can get some food for today...
They're big and gather up a scho..- college around this island. Seem like little boat can't get pass them too.
I have to get out of here! but how?
Days 1-2 : Clearing the sand to sea level making everything much more easy to build. I move some dirt to one side of the island to create the farm zone.
Days 3 : Grass start to grow in my farm. No sign of other living creature around the island. I still looking for the house location and where I should mine. After a long time of decision, I dig out the sand for marking.
Days 4 : Some tree growing. I got some woody resource to make tool for mining. I put a sandmark to where I should dig the tunnel later. Getting bit by big fish during marking.
Days 5 : Start to mine for the resource.
Well I'm super bummed...can't live without grass...can't get grass...wasted 5 hours of gameplay...restarting save and being a bit more careful with what I have.
Le sigh...
I managed to do the same thing =P I feel your pain
Yes, but try to explain it better then most people. There are some people that just write and write and write this stuff and they are so smart that it just doesn't make any sense cause it's all in their head =P
So i picked up this map and yeah island survival is good fun... Im 20+ nights in and only one close call with a large group of spiders in a dungeon with no chests i was like what a gyp. but yeah fun times
This is incredible :smile.gif: designed so elegantly. I love it. I'm pretty sure you're the only guy with a egg to.... haha
