    Really looking forward to this mod being finished, especially with terrafirmacraft and galacticraft compatibility/integrations. I'd actually be willing to PAY for that to be done. It'd be a great thing to add to my uniqueness pack.

    Darn, I am so against using beta or alpha mods in my server, because they typically have that tag because they are heavily laden with bugs and errors...But this?! Oh THIS I HAVE TO TRY! I have been DYING for having over 200 variant hostile mobs! And bosses on top of that?! YES PLEASE!

    Even if Avernite did not kind of stop working on the mod, his general philosophy is "everybody plays the mod the exact same way", so no he will never make a special version.     Hey I've got principles too but a client willing to hire me for lots of $ for a special version of a mod I made ? Chaching, early retirement, more time to do the stuff I really want -- that ain't slling out, thats just basic offer and demand in a fair market lol !


    If you want only a few features and can't learn to code, then your bext bet is to use the mods sub-forum to ask a modder to make the mini-mod you want. Be ready to offer to pay for it of course. Commission work is commission work after all. If you post that kind of commission request here, it will probably only end up falling on deaf ears.

    Can't do lycs mobs, as much as i talk to the guy who made it, his mod adds magic staffs and that would go against the science theme of my server because players aren't supposed to do anything unexplainable by science. I've been looking into special mobs and ai, infernal is a no go for many gear related reasons, and mutant creatures is a no go because of bugs and the INCOMPLETE mob that bypasses grief prevention and turns entire bases into cobwebs, including replacing chests with them.

    Can you make a variant of this with just the hostiles, maybe add a few more if you could, and the hunger/health modification you made but limit it to 10 each? Please and thank you. I would seriously like to add something like this to my server, but what I have in the pack so far, along with the way I have been putting together my classing system through a plugin, would make the rest of what this adds just a side effect not worth putting people through. Really great mod when used on its own though of course! I've been looking to get as many varying hostiles, with strengths and weaknesses to each, and a range of other differences, for quite a while.


    I have the rest of the features I want in my server covered so far, except the health and hunger that you have in this that I want so badly, and the extensive range of hostilities.


    If you're up for it I'm also looking to try and get a few mod devs together to collab on an ideal hostile adding mod that would end up adding at least 100 different hostiles that can be configured as to their hp, damage, natural armor, spawn rate, spawn biome, and spawn requirements (like lighting, y level, floor type, so on if possible). Even more is I want them to have specific resistances and weaknesses.

    Ok, so far I have Dungeon Mobs, Grimoire 3, Thermal Expansion, and the vanilla hostiles. I want more mods that add hostile mobs. Preferably ones that add absolutely nothing else. Especially challenging and tiered hostiles. It would be a bonus if they can be configured, in case I find them to be too weak. In fact, if someone is up to making a mod that adds tons of varying hostiles for my server to use, it would be great if they added support for enchiridian 2, whereas it would add a book on the hostiles encountered, with detailed and epic lore and backstories and "discover as you go" information about each hostile. I seriously look forward to having well over 200 varying hostile mobs in the short term, and 1000+ hopefully by the end of the year.


    If it helps you understand any: I've been working on making my server more and more unique, starting from the mods in it, on to the challenges, and at the moment I am configuring class after class after class through the heros plugin to make it more tiered of a play. I've also been revising what items would be allowed overall as compared to what items won't be allowed at all, both from vanilla and from the mods in the server. The server is more to the science, guns, giant mechs, and heavy artillery side of minecraft. And really, I can't help but wish someone would make a variant of Orespawn where literally all it would add is the hostiles, no ants, no termites, no peaceful critters, and for the love of masochism, none of the items/gear ore drops... Just... Hostiles...


    If someone is up to making a mod for me, please let me know and ask away about anything you would like to know about my ideas for it. I can't say I'm very good at drawing or making a mod, but I'm a hefty idealist and I'm looking forward to seeing this one through in every way I'm capable of.

    This mod REQUIRES jre8 and higher. If you read the description you'd know. It's also easy to see that your crash is caused by the fact that you're using jre7 which is not compatible at all.

    I couldn't find an area suitable for posting this, since the last time I posted in general or help about an issue with a server, the post was deleted. So I'm posting this here and HOPING it doesn't get skipped over like I somehow feel like it will...


    I'm a server owner, and I'm having problems with essentials and it's irritating /fly command... I want to somehow make it so that it doesnt work or is blocked from working or something along those lines. But I don't want to disable all flying because my server pretty much relies on flying as one of the best methods of transportation, in fact the end dimension requires the ability to fly because there's more than one ender dragon and all sorts of other epic battles awaiting the players of my server... The thing is, I want to be able to play just as fair as if i were a normal player on my server, when im not working on server projects like new areas for spawn or handling an issue with players.


    So if there is a way to make it so that /fly stops effecting me even though im the owner, please by all means tell me how, or what i need to get so that it works. I'm using kcauldron with forge 1448 and at least above CB1.7.2r0.3, but i haven't checked how high the build. I'm using the latest version of essentials for CB1.7.2r0.3 because the 1.7.9r0.1 version seems a little unstable to me. I'm open to using a command blocker plugin if it wouldn't exempt me without me personally listing myself as exempt for any reason. But I have no idea where to turn to, and despite my efforts I have yet to find any other way to get rid of this pest that makes it cheaty on me for methods of flying... I'd seriously prefer having the cost for flying applied over simply being able to fly.

    Just saying, because of the mods and plugins I use on my server, 1.7.10 is far harder than 1.9. Mobs spawn during the day in full diamond gear that get's looted as a leather or wood counterpart and nothing stronger, they deal more damage per hit the farther you go from the world spawn and the equivalent of such in the alternate dimensions, the farther you go, the more hostiles that spawn in clusters and the better their gear and ability to spot the player from distances (which can suck if it happens to be an army of skeletons and pre-angered endermen), believe me, no amount of preparation can save you if you go far enough, especially once the skeleton swarms start shooting you like some kind of monster machine gun army from an unrealistic range, and even worse, at least attempting to read your trajectory to make dodging several times harder.

    Is there something I'm missing about the title? Is there no survival method to making a custom title? Much less the ability to make a custom title? It would be great if you could make the recipe be a written book, and have the title given by the resulting piece of equipment be the book title of the book used to craft it. As it is now, it's simply a waste of exp on an aesthetic piece that has no known functionality...

    -Supersonic(Cause a disrupting noise that causes nausea and weakness)

    -Poison Gas(Manipulate poison in the air to an area causing poison, nausea, weakness, mining fatigue and slowness temporally)

    -Plasma Bolt(A charging attack that is insanely destructive)

    -Violent Air(Causes a target to explode in his lungs taking insane damage)

    -Air in Blood(Causes the oxygen in blood to stop moving causing the body to be deprived of oxygen. This makes the user starts to take suffocation damage along with nausea and slowness.)



    Uses weapons like fans and etc may boost certain skills power








    Zombie




    The abilities of a zombie and the ability to control zombies. This is actually manipulation of one's brain into a specific setting that is like a zombie.



    Lv 1:

    -Bloody Thirst(Eating raw food gives higher food bar and regen)

    -Spit(Cause temporally 1-2 sec blindness)




    LV2:

    -Immense Strength(Causes the body to cut off neural links to allow stunning physical power. Increase attack power, resistance, jump and speed but at the cost of having nausea and weakness afterwards)

    -Climb(Using your zombie strength, you can climb any surfaces except glasses which instantly breaks)

    -Chunking(Toss blocks at high velocity to deal high damage)

    -Claws(Increase punching damage)




    LV3:

    -Contagious Bite(Cause a bite that changes one into a zombie instantly)

    -Contagious Claws(Cause a poisoning effect that has 50% of changing people into zombies.)

    -Dead Look(Looking like the dead causes undeads to not attack you)

    -Dead Body(Having a body similar to a corpse allows you to stay in water longer, take longer to be affected by poison)



    Lv4:

    -Screeching Call(Calls any nearby zombie to aid you)

    -Screeching Blast(An insane screech that causes an AOE nausea effect)



    Lv5:

    -Undying Zombie(Never die for a certain period of time along with increased strength. Afterwards is affected by wither and weakness)

    -The Death Evolution(The more damage you take, the more resistance and strength you have)

    -Debone(Kill any mob to drop bones.)

    -I Am Zombie(Becomes immune to any form of damage and increase strength but gains nausea and slowness while this ability is in effect)







    Downside:

    Doesn't affect people with abilities as their brain has been configured by their power.







    Most likely, the zombie one isn't going to happen because it's not so much a superpower as it is a disease. Air manipulation seems like it has some shaky ideas, but I wouldn't doubt they might think about it. Just figured I'd let you know.
