I wish I could but like I said the mod in question (the betweenlands) only works with version D6 or lower so unless there is a way to make one of those work I guess im out of luck
Hi i'm wondering if somebody could help me out im seriously at a loss...
I've been using Optifine HD_U_D8 for minecraft 1.7.10, which has worked great, but in order to work with another mod I need to switch to a lower version (D3-6) however, whenever I switch out D8 for one of those, the settings for animations is totally unresponsive. I try to disable them and it doesn't work, but if I switch back to D8 it works again. I've tried deleting config files and regenerating, and so far nothing has worked. Being able to disable certain animations is a huge deal for performance in my custom modpack so I would hugely appreciate and help or insight.

Im using ruins mod for minecraft 1.7.10 and have just installed the ruin templates made by Jordan_Greywolf, however it appears that many of the ruins incorporating command blocks are not generating properly... there are just stacks or individual command blocks sitting there where it appears a structure should be. Anyone have any idea why? I'm not familiar with command blocks.

(1.7.10) Hey everyone, i'm having a strange issue I can't figure out where almost no structures whatsoever are ever spawning in my multiplayer server and i cant figure out why... ive seen a few markets, some towns but with zero automated structures like i used to see, and never any castles. Below is an example of the console code when i start up my game but idk what to do about it or if this is relevant... I would love as much world gen as possible
It could be... my service isnt getting back to me about it so i think my next step will be to try using one a friend is paying for to test that theory.
I have a large custom modpack for 1.7.10 and our server has been working wonderfully up till this point when something very strange has happened... I spend a lot of time figuring things out for myself so coming here is very much an act of desperation and it would mean the world to me if I could get some help. We have spent countless hours on this world and I dont have a backup anywhere near where we are.....
So it appears that for some reason when anyone logs in now, they get in far enough that they see the sky and turn around but not see anything in the world itself and they are falling through air. Then they get a timed out message however it doesn't log that they got disconnected on the console for another couple minutes, and there is always a huge number of ticks skipped after the player tried to log in. This is especially strange given that the norm was it would take several minutes to be able to interact in game while it loaded, and during that time the console would show monsters spawning near you via JAS mod. Now it is the opposite, with the client getting in right away but the console never spawning creatures and not logging that you disconnected (timed out) until way after the fact. The server never crashes and seems to have started up just fine, and this issue has never occurred before.
I have tried:
* using Minecraft Region Fixer which showed no corrupted regions
* deleting the level.dat and other files, or replacing them with backup versions
* using McEdit to delete almost the entire world outside the main spawn area
* deleting all other dimension data
* deleting all player data
* trying the world on another hosting service
* deleting large amounts of mods to see if that fixes it
So far, none of the above has worked....
The mod pack I'm using has not changed at all and all of these mods were working together up until this point without issue.
Below I will post some images of what happens on the console and client-side, as well as logs from both. Let me know if there is any other information I can provide!!!

I'm sorry if this has been answered but im having a rly hard time getting these to work for 1.7.10.... trying to install old caves and more ravines and all that, but when I add them to the .jar nothing seems to happen. Would someone be willing to walk me through the process, and where exactly the jar im looking for is etc? Is it the original jar or the forge jar? thanks ahead of time!!

So im not sure exactly what the issue was but I switched from Shockbyte servers to Host Horde and that fixed it

I ended up just finding the villagers in question and killing them/destroying the village but no idea what caused it
