Real Name:Garrett F
How often do you play: I am a competitive gymnast, so I am only on about 1-3 hours a day, more on sundays
What times during the day can you active duty guard: 8:30ish on weekdays, as well as more time on saturday and sunday
What rank are you in game: Peasant
Why should we pick you to be a Guard:I have been a responsible player so far, and have not gotten into any trouble. I already know a little bit about being a guard from the incessant ramblings of my brother, willifolts. I promise to be fair, as well as non-abusive. I have read the rules thoroughly, and I know that I can always talk to my brother about questions and disputes.
Anything else you want to include: Nothing much here, so thanks for reading!
Nov 9, 2013Posted in: Recent Updates and SnapshotsQuote from PopuliMinistrumWell yes, in his subjective opinion the biome that, in your subjective opinion, "looks like candy corn threw up", is his favorite. Do you have a problem with his subjective opinion being different than your subjective opinion? Because that, my friend, is called bigotry.
Ok, let me expand on my last post of the day right before bed kinda rushed type of post.
In my opinion, the mesa biome is far to bright, and needs a bit toning down. Plus, in my opinion, the white and black clay contrast too much against the orangish color of the clay, and in my opinion, it does in fact look like a mishmash of candy corn.

Where do you live: East Coast, USA
How often do you play:2-4 hours week days, 3-8 hours weekends
What times during the day can you active duty guard:On weekdays anytime from around 4-9:30 EST time depending on schoolwork. On weekends any time I have available to be on Minecraft
What rank are you in game:Supervisor
Why should we pick you to be a Guard:In game, I have not done much offensive wise. I believe I have been generally kind to the other players, and have made a lot of friends on this server. I am really not a big fan of those who go around showing off their stuff, being general jerks to those who are just trying to enjoy the server. I also love helping people (that sounds a bit cliché, I know), and I feel that helping people brings together the server more. Nothing irks me more that seeing people ask a simple question, such as "Where is the wood mine" (which I see perhaps a little too often), and then read a snarky remark from one of the other players. As a last note, many people have helped me on this server when I was new, and I just want to be able to help the current new people in the same way, if not more.
Anything else you want to include: If I do get accepted, could you possibly warn me before changing my rank? I have a pick in my echest that I am quite fond of that I would rather not lose, as I have had it since I was B block.

A wooden door fixing all your gear is absurd, I agree. The problem I have, and the very reason why I created this thread in the first place is to have 'special' items that can be used this way.
Ive used the wooded door, the bed block, the iron door, the piston top for these things because that's all i can use.
Sure a wooden door fixing your gear sounds absurd, but a repair relic, dropped off a boss that takes 40 minutes to kill doesn't sound too absurd.
So, if you are suggesting to add relics why don't you just you just say "Hey, I'm suggesting a few relics" and then GIVE them new names and such.

Let me just say this one thing: I like the biomes. All of them (except the Mesa). Why?
Well, I really wouldn't have a problem with a mesa biome in minecraft, mainly because in real life mesas look like this:
Whereas in minecraft it looks like this:
Some similiarities, right?
Well, I do think it is a cool biome, but seems a little to bright, especially with the lines of black and white clay which stand out a little too much. This biome does have potential, but to me it just looks ugly right now.
Anyone else agree?
Nov 8, 2013willifolts posted a message on Minecraft Servers down " Minecraft sessions (legacy) "?1. Notch isn't working on minecraft anymore (They really need to make a thread to help the newbies with this stuff)Posted in: Discussion
2. We all know it is down, they are probably working hard to fix it)
3. Most threads like these get locked because they have nothing to do with the actual discussion of anything minecrafty
Nov 8, 2013Isn't there already a thread for this somewhere?Posted in: Discussion
EDIT: Found It:
Nov 8, 2013I do not support this at all, mainly because of the fact that doors and piston heads and such have no place being boss trophies. They are technical blocks, nothing more. The fact that a wooden door could fix all of my diamond tools just doesn't make sense. Also, for the iron door relic, bedrock has no place being in a survival inventory. At. All. Think off all the griefing that could be done with the one that controls this?Posted in: Suggestions

I really like 1.7 because of the new biomes!!
I've been exploring my worlds to see the new biomes
My fav biome would be the one with the stained clay.
Mojang have put a lot of effort into this , we'll done mojang
So you are saying that your favorite biome is the one that looks like a candy corn threw up?
Nov 8, 2013Posted in: Recent Updates and SnapshotsQuote from IMineUCraftPeople with non- advanced mice will have a disadvantage. Creating a bind to the side of your mouse (like with the Razer Naga) will give you a huge advantage in soup pvp. You wouldn't have to occupy another finger on your left hand to reach the number keys. People with mice without macros will have to strain their hand while occupying a finger for a button for the toggle sprint. This means you will not have enough fingers to hotkey up to 9. If you don't know what soup pvp is, look it up on YouTube. It is having a big impact on the community.
So? You can assign the caps lock key to sprint to get a toggle right there. Why does it matter what kind of mouse a person has?
Nov 6, 2013One of my favorite things is seeing what others have made, whether it be exploring maps or installing mods or going on unique servers! Its really fun to go on to a server and find out that you can be a vampire lumberjack traveling in a TARDIS.Posted in: Discussion

You can create a castle out of nowhere in 1.6.2. their a useful MCEdit filter SethBling created for that. And befor you say, but now you can do it in Vanilla, if you can load the world in Vanilla and it works, its Vanilla. Most mapmakers use mods like WorldEdit anyway.
You do know that there are people out there who don't like mcedit, right?

Sounds plausible... Maybe add a nether portal block in the tardis and in the nether is the giant tardis area? Just been thinking
I was thinking having an already placed command block with TP stuff inside of it, then the command to place a pressure plate on top.
Quote from RobertFrans
So you can in 1.7 let a command block automatically place blocks wherever you want?
I can't even really realize how many possibilities this gives. You can make complete villages appear from nothing, giant robots take a little walk (at least if air is also considered as a block, so you can let blocks appear and dissapear and so give the illusion of movements), everything.
How far will this go with the command block? Give it a few more commands, and you can as to speak create procedurally generated structures yourself...
I am going to have so much fun with this. Giant cybermen and daleks...flying TARDIS intro...
Also, if you could sync this with a tp command...movable planes, trains, vehicles. You could have moving traffic, falling bombs, rockets. Animations. Almost endless possibilities...
Sep 11, 2013Ok, just an idea here: TARDIS Materialization.Posted in: News

Surprised no one has commented on this yet. My one question is whether or not this will be available for more then just one block (setting blocks from x y z to x y z). I think this will be useful, and I can't wait to be able to make a castle appear out of no where.
Ok, in the terms of no one commenting yet, the time on my clock and the time on the forums are out of sync, and I thought it was more 2-ish right now. Anyways, woot! I got first comment
