I think you just revolutionized Minecraft hosting. I'd think about adding Bukkit support, and maybe even the ability to keep the worlds for a while after the time expires and just have the servers offline. If they want the world back they can pay to have it up per the hour to keep things cheap.
I'd check out NFOServers. I have a VPS with them with three cores, 5GB of memory, 300GB of storage, 3TB of bandwidth, a 5GB SSD, and Windows Server 2008 R2. I use Windows for the main OS which runs the Minecraft server, and I have an Ubuntu 10.01 virtual machine to host a website. It costs just about $100 per month.
Yeah, when I purchased Minecraft it said I was ordering in Euros even though I'm in the United States. PayPal does all of the currency conversions and you'll end up paying with the VEF.
I'm using NFOServers right now, I have a triple core VPS with 5GB of memory, and a 5GB SSD with 4 IP addresses for just under $100 per month. They are very flexible and offer much more low end plans and much more high end plans.
That would be awesome. You're walking around and all of a sudden you have a giant dragon come up and attack you. Of course there would probably need to be a way to turn it on/off.
