I was thinking if this game is about a mystical world, why not add a witch. They could be rare, fly in the air, during the moons middle cycle. Of course there would be one, and again , rare. And the only way to kill her would be with an arrow. She would drop something rare.

Which brings me to my next idea. with the inclusion of a witch, you could add a coldran. And potions. I dont know how you would make this usable but, it fits the idea of minecraft.

I'm still banned tadpradel and i didnt even grief. I've presented my case to illumini but he's ruthless.

I host a server and i want to know how to edit server commands. I can edit the actual server.jar if needed. But i need to find a way to limit what items you can give yourself and how many. and also limit commands that can be given, can this be done?

I have a legit minecraft account but i downloaded a hacked minecraft.jar to test something out, and its awesome. So what this code does is when you save it as a mac batch file and if its placed on the mac desktop and a char.png file is there it will copy it into the minecraft.jar file and there is another code that will copy it into a texture pack named basic2. anyway This works because the minecraft hacked version uses the mob folder in the minecraft.jar file and the mob folder in the texture packs(if u have another texture pack) so thats how it works.

to save as a batch file dont use textedit it doesnt work what so ever!!!!! Go into terminal type nano filename.command then press command O and it will ask you to save. then chmod 755 filename.command

Ok so i have been reading this issue all over the internet. My brothers computer can see in the dark with ease, but my mac is just too dark, i cant see squat and cant do anything at night because its just too dark. This is minecrafts problem, or java's. I heard it had to do with updates to a new OSX version that uses a new gamma setting, either way Notch please fix this.

I play on the minecraft server, and i run it on my mac, now i find it too tempting to cheat (using /give name 17 64), so is there a way to edit these commands to block off certain commands.

Here is my idea

make a block that is user made that has a higher chance of spawning animals
this block would not de-spawn any animals on it, making it good for farm areas.

Well either that or be able to make a collar rope and hook to a fence. Easily done with spider string.

-This one is a neat idea-----Basically lightbulbs built in an array, to make em, red-stone(copper), glass, iron. And to go with this would be a generator, to power it all, you could put it under a water fall, under a fire(geothermal, sterling engine), and it would power maybe 20-40 blocks worth instead of 15.---but this is just an idea.


-bigger objects- get smaller objects to make bigger objects to put together to other bigger objects to make one bigger object. like pieces of a big object, kinda how you would build a repeater using redstone and torches. it makes one bigger object that has a use. This could be made to build said engine/generator.

I have a hacked version of MC on my pc and a legit version on my mac, no i have a server that works on my pc, and i can connect to it through the mac(on the program, not internet) but as soo as my brother connects to it on his laptop is signes the mac out, whats the problem, and i have also hosted it on a url, and both computer connect to the game, but none of it connects to my server, what is going on. and how can i make the 2 computers connect to my server laptop so we could play together through lan or url.
