posted a message on Minecraft dies?
    Quote from eyebow

    Hello,

I've read that Minecraft version 1.5 is going to be the last,I don't believe it, but is there ever going to be any LAST version of Minecraft,I hope NOT !
This is the only game i buy, the only game I'm playing, the only game I LIKE !
So please if you know a last version of minecaft or something like that please tell me.
I don't want to switch games like crazy like i was doing before i heard about Minecraft.
I'm just scared that minecraft can die out some time.

You should make it compatible with Sphax Pure BDcraft.

Maybe it's an update to slimes, giving them a squiggly animated texture.

so to get that silly green number on my page up, all I have to do is randomly quote people and say something that sounds smart, even though it's not.

    Gotcha.

I asked a question, scrubby. I didn't start some "prove it" war... save that for religion.
Providing evidence is not just "randomly quoting people for that green number", it's why we know you're not making up crap. Or are you suggesting that we should believe any random idiot who says something, but hate people who actually give us proof?

posted a message on The Wardrobe, an update to skins
In the Minecraft launcher, there should be a new thing, under Multiplayer, that says Wardrobe. It will be a place to change and store skins, like on the Xbox (Mojang will also need to make skins able to be saved to the account). People would download skins and change skins a lot faster. This is kind of a short suggestion, but it would be awesome if this was added.

posted a message on Updating mods after API
    Quote from Master_Jynx

The way it works now (to state it simply), is that Mojang obfuscates the MC code.
That means that all function, variable and file names are are changed to randomly generated words.
So a function that may have been called "createNewPotionRecipe()" might be renamed to "bae()"

Once a new version is released, the MCP team looks through the code a gives everything meaningful names
again, so modders will understand the code more easily.

The Forge Team takes the MCP's Team's work and uses it to update Forge and FML, to make them compatable
    with the new version.

Then Modders look over The Forge Team's work and use it to update thier mods, which then get bug tested , and the released
    for our enjoyment.

With a Modding API, Mojang will create an interface that allows modders to make mods without them having to deal with the
    obfuscated code.
Those mods would only need to be updated when the API has changed, or when the modder has added new features
    or done some bug fixes.
Wouldn't that make Forge unnecessary though? Not that I'm complaining, I'd much rather have a Mod API than Forge.

This forum is for updates that are already confirmed or rumored to be added. This is nice, but it's a suggestion, and should go in the suggestions forum.

posted a message on A suggestion for the forums...
    Yes, that's a thing.

Anyway, my suggestion is very simple. Add a downvote button. There's an upvote button to tell someone "I liked this" without actually saying it. It's really useful, so threads aren't loaded with one-sentence "I support"'s. But what about really crappy posts? When I see a crappy post, the majority of people just say "No. This sucks." Not many people actually take the time to explain why the post was crappy. If we had a downvote button, those people could just downvote and leave, and crappy posts won't get bumped to the top from people disagreeing.

All this raging and debating could be stopped if all you said was "let's add drinks that will restore hunger". It's like the same thing. We could keep calling it the hunger bar, but drinks such as water will restore it just like food does. None of this HAT mooshroom crap.
