I haven't seen much people complain about them being craftable as much as about there being 2 kinds of saddles. Jeb should just make one saddle, with the texture of the pig saddle but crafted like the horse saddle, that can also be found in dungeons.
This seems cool, but it's kind of OP, so what if they wander off from time to time and you need to find them and feed them bananas again for them to get back to work.
Horses are just derpy and need to be tossed. Not because I hate horses, but these horses stink. If horses are added, some serious effort to develop them should take place that doesn't come from this version.
That's because these horses, if you looked at them closely, were pigs wearing horse costumes. They had the zipper on the back. It was part of the joke, since some people want horses instead of rideable pigs, so Mojang made pigs dressed up as horses.
I think it's going to focus on natural stuff, like mobs and terrain and stuff (maybe an ocean update too?). We already know that 2 or more mobs will be added, because Jeb tweeted that he's making new mobs, plural, and they said at Minecon they might work on the terrain too.
The Xbox Version just got End and Nether sounds, by C418, something that has been suggested and asked for for a while now. Do you guys think we'll get it in 1.6?
I think that boats and minecarts should be enchantable. With pigs going 5 blocks per second on maximum speed, minecarts and boats aren't as useful. If they were enchantable, more people would use them (I know people already do, but it's still nice to have more enchanted stuff).
The enchantments are as follows:
Minecart:
-Speed I-V [I is one bps(block per second) faster than normal minecart speed, and it increases by 1 bps with each tier]
-Shock Absorb I-III (prevents falling damage, like feather falling but for minecarts)
-Silken Wheels I (stops minecart from activating detector rails. Good for hidden bases on servers)
-Efficiency I-V (makes the minecart go faster from each powered rail and from furnaces)
-Kinetic Energy I-V (makes minecarts do damage when hitting something. I=2 hearts, II=4 hearts,
III=6 hearts, IV=8 hearts, V=10 hearts)
Boat:
-Speed I-V (same as minecart)
-Reinforcement I-V (makes the boat have a smaller chance to break in a crash)
-Lava resistance I (exactly what it sounds like. Rarest enchantment.)
-Kinetic energy I-III (same as minecart, but only to 3 since boats are wooden)
-Hit and Run I-IV (When you are going at what would be full speed without enchantments, you get fish randomly. The chance for getting a fish increases with each tier, but is still kinda rare)
Good idea, just one problem though. Monkeys are bred with bananas, meaning it will cost 2 bananas to make a new monkey. They drop 0-2 bananas. Why would someone take the time to breed a monkey just to have a chance of "getting their money back" when they killed it. It would be like spending a million dollars on a lottery ticket where you have a 1 in 3 chance of winning a million. Basically, you can either get 2 bananas back, making the whole breeding thing a waste of time, or more likely, you can get 1 or 0 bananas back, making it a waste of time and profit. You should probably change it to make them drop 2-5 bananas or something.
Support, and for you people saying this is pointless because it doesn't do anything: Bats, different cat species, lapis, quartz, pretty much every decorative block, and background music are all "useless", but they're still great.
