    Then that's another issue i'm having, red alloy wire doesn't pick up signals from buttons.

    I am having issues getting redstone current to flow through the wires:

    Redstone Dust to Red Alloy Wire: The current doesn't flow into the Red Alloy Wire at all.
    Redstone Dust to Insulated Wire: The Insulated wire lightes up as if powered, but I cant pass that current back into redstone dust. It can however, power blocks.

    I'm using Red Power 2.0 pr4, ModLoaderMP v4 and Forge 1.3.3.12.

    For everyone requesting SMP versions of this mod:

    I cannot make Extended Reach work with an unmodified server. I have tried to make it work, however, when a block is destroyed that would be normally out of the player's reach, no item is dropped and a few seconds later the block is replaced by the server's chunk update. (At least that's what I understand)

    I believe I can make a server mod that will enable Extended Reach to work in SMP.
    Anyone interested?

    When it hits a non-empty space it just skips over it, meaning if you set it to 5, the mod will place as many of those five blocks as possible.

    As for extending my reach, I'm using my own mod Extended Reach.

    It will work both directions.

    As to changing the keys, I don't know how that would be done, so for now they're hard coded in.

    lol, no it doesn't work in SMP. In SMP infinite Blocks works like finite blocks.

    Instead of placing just one block at a time, wouldn't it be nice to place two or three at a time? Well now you can, with the Push and Drop mod!

    This mod requires ModLoader v4, get it here.

    Use:
    Increase Drop Amount: T
    Decrease Drop Amount: G
    Place blocks with: Left-Ctrl + Left Mouse Button

    There are two version of this mod, Finite Blocks and Infinite Blocks. When using Finite Blocks, every block you place is deducted from your inventory. However, when using Infinite Blocks; no blocks are deducted from your inventory.


    This mod works in SMP.

    It looks like I failed when I made the SMP version. It appears that there IS server side checking against this, and so cannot be done without modifying the server.

    Actually it IS possible, heres a of it.

    No idea how tho, hope you can make it work.


    I did not watch the entire video, what I saw was placing blocks only. In my efforts to make extended reach work in SMP I discovered that I could indeed place blocks far away from me. However, the server protects against block removal at longer reaches. As placing blocks is only half of what extended reach does normally, I did not find that sufficient to post here.
