posted a message on Phantoms only spawn in The End + elytra crafting recipe

I do think making phantoms spawn in the End is an interesting idea that would make it a little less dull, but I think giving elytras a crafting recipe would only undermine the End ships, serving only as a quick and somewhat lazy way to give phantoms a purpose. A better idea would be to leave elytras untouched, but rather have the anti-phantom block crafted from phantom membranes. If you don't like the phantoms, you have to confront them, rather than being able to avoid them altogether.

You could make some kind of damage potion, that can slow down the enemy. Maybe it could be called a fatigue potion, not to be confused with mining fatigue.

You mean the slowness effect that can already be brewed by adding a fermented spider eye to a potion of swiftness/leaping?

Because Notch knew what to do... He had ideas he had talent on creating things and he had time, Good Notch invested all time to this legendary game. He's the true developer of all games.

Notch barely added anything to Minecraft nor was he incredibly good at implementing things competently. Minecraft was stagnant for most of its alpha and beta - you may not see it behind the nostalgia but it was a fairly poor game.

The result is still more meaningful and quality updates that change the game in more ways then we have seen before. I mean have you even seen 1.18?

Thanks to Notch, we had to wait a very long time for the world gen between all 3 vanilla dimensions to be de-boringified.

Notch didn't develop nearly as much as Mojang is. Notch only introduced very few features nor were the features very intricate. Mojang is now updating the 'lazy' terrain and cave generation that's plagued Minecraft for a decade with some competent stuff, so it's no wonder it's taking so long.

1.9. Spam clicking was nerfed (good idea imho, bit of a rocky execution but it now takes a bit more skill beyond spamming), which also led to axes being buffed. Of course, to balance this out, they have a bigger timer than swords.
