I would like to check out your server, if you have yet to reach your goal of 10-20 new users yet.

    In Game Name: Warnerrr

    Age: 27

Minecraft Experience: Have played on, and hosted, several servers, have had it since InfDev.

Previous works (optional): I have worked on several massive projects, including:

Building a recreation of Hoth (My friend Ganzu built an awesome AT-AT, and I built a snowspeeder, but I can't find any pics of it :sad.gif: but I will keep looking )
Building a road that spanned 12 minutes of walking time, which held a harbor, a massive crater city, several miles of intricate tunnels to various locations.

I came up with (what I think is) an ingenious way of keeping track of yourself on long journeys, located here, as well as a pretty sweet castle that got put on hold due to a server update, which you can find here

Thanks for reading, hope to check out your server really soon!

posted a message on No Sound Fix [Confirmed]
Something I have noticed in Windows 7 (and Vista, though that is hearsay, since I don't have a machine with Vista to test this on) is that it messes up your system volume for minecraft occasionally. To fix this, right click your volume meter, go to Open Volume Mixer, and then check the level it has MineCraft's volume set at. It randomly mutes mine sometimes, and I have to fix it this way. Hope it helps!

Note: You must have minecraft running to adjust its volume properties in the mixer. Not that you wouldn't have it running. Does it even have a quit command? Not that you'd use it.

posted a message on Internet Connection dies when playing Multiplayer
Let me just get my specs out of the way

Windows 7 Ultimate, 32 bit, running the standalone client, updated java, Netgear RangeMax WN111v1 Wireless adapter, updated to the latest drivers (that I could find, not sure if there are newer drivers for my wireless besides the ones on Netgear's site from 3/18/2008).

Whenever I log in to play multiplayer, I will get about 20 seconds in, and I can chat/see chat get updated, but then after that everyone freezes in place, then I get a disconnect notice stating " Internal Exception: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out" and my internet connection no longer works. I have to get up, go behind pc, unplug wireless adapter, replug wireless adapter, and then try again after updating every piddly little thing I can think of. I am getting terribly frustrated and would really like to steal a blimp right about now.

    -edit-

Also, I know there is another thread called "SMP Kills my Wireless Connection" or some such, but it is for unrelated hardware.

    -edit edit-

Error also occurs in browsers ff, opera, and chrome.
