With our latest updates we managed a solid 20 TPS regardless of the amount of players online. For a server with a bunch of 0tick farms, spawners and tons of redstone builds that’s pretty legendary.

Come check us out for the ultimate semi vanilla experience:D

posted a message on [Semi-Vanilla] We’re updating to 1.15 and upgrading our hardware

Hey all, I run a no-limits, redstone friendly 1.14.4 semi-vanilla survival server with plans to update to 1.15. We’re also rebuilding our server from the ground up using the latest hardware, and keeping the player cap low so that you can build anything you want without worrying about lagging things up. We refuse to install plugins like clearlagg that nerf the experience, and instead rely on hardware and optimizations to keep the server running smoothly.

There are no cheesy server gimmicks such as ranks or scrolling side bars, and we won’t spam your chat with annoying remind messages to vote or donate. I noticed there are a lot of crappy servers out there so I took it upon myself to make one that doesn’t suck.

Both the hardware and 1.15 update are expected to go into effect on 12/15/19, check us out on discord to follow us throughout the transition: discord.gg/Mcz3S9f

If you’d like to get a head start on building, you can join the server using the ip SqueejCraft.com

It’s survival, so be prepared to survive.

We are not looking for staff at this time and we only hire from within

posted a message on SqueejCraft.com Halloween event

We will be hosting a spooky Halloween event at 6:30 pm pacific time (9:30 pm eastern), all players are welcome.

More information about the server below:

SqueejCraft is a performance based 1.14.4 semi-vanilla PvE server with a copious land claim system and no limits, allowing you to construct builds that would normally lag other servers, such as complex redstone contraptions and afk farms. We do not use plugins like clearlagg and instead rely on hardware to give you the closest you’ll ever get to a single player experience in an online server. Spawners are mineable, teleporting is convenient yet balanced, and phantoms are non-existent, aside from that everything else is pretty vanilla. We will never nerf your view distance, chunk loads, mob spawns or delete your entities. Despite the emphasis on what you can build on this server, Survival is a key focus of SqueejCraft and fits right into the semi-vanilla category.

SqueejCraft.com is a performance based 1.15.1 semi-vanilla survival server with no build limits and no world border. Originally launched as a redstone friendly server (still is), we do not use plugins like Clearlagg and instead rely on hardware and software optimizations to give you the closest you'll ever get to a single player experience in an online server. We will never nerf your view distance, chunk load speeds or delete your entities.

You can claim land with a good ol' fashioned golden shovel, set up to 4 home teleport points and other nifty basics like player teleports and random teleports. Other than that, things are pretty vanilla. We use custom plugins to limit rain frequency and catch X-ray violators, the server also sports a fancy anti-cheat that's been thoroughly tweaked to prevent false positives, as well as an auto-mute with an extensive banned-word list for semi-family friendly fun. Spawners are mineable, by the way.

This is Survival multiplayer set to hard difficulty, there is no in-game economy. It's vanilla with a few neat add-ons to make your lives a little easier. There is no ranking system or useless mini-games that do nothing but attract obnoxious kids. This is Minecraft. Your coordinates display when you die and you'll have to walk to them. Be prepared to survive the old fashioned way.

posted a message on SqueejCraft.com is looking for bug testers and potential admins.

    Bug testing:

This may be a shot in the dark, I’m looking for volunteers to help test for bugs in my semi-vanilla survival server. SqueejCraft.com is only a month old and we plan to run a series of advertisements to help increase traffic to the server. Before that we would like to address any potential bugs that me and the admins may have missed, any bug testing help would be thoroughly appreciated and rewarded in game if you leave your ign. There is no obligation to stay after testing and we most certainly appreciate any help we can get.

    1. First join, you will be greeted by a paragraph of info, on the bottom it should list some useful commands from the [Squeej] prefix to help new players get started. If it instead lists voting information, please let me know here in this thread

    2. Do all of the commands work? Does /help or /wild give you any problems? Can you access all of the menus in the /help section?

    3. Do you require permission for anything that should be made available to all players

    4. Do you get any false positive from the anti cheat?

    5. Are there any gameplay bugs? Do you rubber-band while running around? Do you fall from edges even though you’re holding shift? Etc..

    6. Is the server laggy in anyway? Is it network lag, server lag, or is it your client that’s unable to keep up? (we have a lot going on in this server)

    7. Anything else about the server that turns you off, please let me know and feel free to provide any constructive criticism

    Admin position:

SqueejCraft currently has 4 admins and 1 owner, and may need one more admin if the server continues to grow at the pace it’s growing. If you’d like to be considered for an admin role, it will take some time to decide if you’re right for the job. To qualify, you must:
    1. Be an active regular on the server for atleast 3 weeks
    2. Prove you can work with community and address any concerns that arise
    3. Prove that you have your act together and that you’re mature
    4. Be willing to address trolls and griefers
    5. Be 18 years or older with a decent understanding of the games mechanics
    6. Prove that you’re not the type of person to abuse commands
    7. Have a discord and a mic
    8. Help us test for bugs as mentioned in the beginning, and it will leave a great first impression. Mention any bugs you find in this thread, leave your ign and I will assume you’re interested in the job, from there I will keep an eye on how you communicate and handle things. Do not ask for admin right away

There is currently only one slot available for the admin role and there is no guarantee that you will be chosen. The more active and mature you are the more likely you will be considered. All admins will receive a share of any future profits if the server grows to that point, but there is no guarantee. The more work that’s put in, the more likely we will get to that point. Thanks for your consideration

posted a message on How do I make a command block give an item once, and only once?

In an effort to keep plugins minimal on my server I let new players walk over a pressure plate to get starter items via a command block. To avoid having them abuse this feature is there a command chain that will give the item just once?
