If you're logged in, it's verified. If you're logged in as someone else, it should update, but won't know it's YOU and not THEM. If you're in offline mode, you're offline--that means you CANNOT update.

But yes, I think I will have auditions for pigmen, I'm guessing about 18 people will be needed. I'm going to try to start ASAP, due to school exams coming up. The downside, however, is that Galaxy and I both can't get a server running, so if you could run a server, VGX, that would be great.
Of course I can run a server, I run like 7 as it is.
The issue is as follows:
I host directly from my laptop (since my laptop is the most badass piece of technology EVER), so thus have a dynamic IP. Therefor, I always follow the strict rule of, "My server is up when I am up." As in, you can't log into my server unless I'm actively online.
So we'd have to sync time zones.
But, yeah, assuming we'll do that, I'll surely host.
...except I also have things in personal life coming up that might impede working.
Here, I'll try to get the blueprints up this weekend. Start filming stuff then, and I'll contact you two about hosting.

And trust me on this. That actually IS a plot point, and SHALL BE EXPLAINED. A disadvantage to starting a movie before the book is done, sadly...but no matter.

Just to clear things up a bit now:
Something HAPPENED, and that is, CHANGED, that caused an IQ skyrocket. This isn't just spontaneous. Hell, this IS based on actual events, remember, although loosely...and how many times have you seen Ghasts come through a portal, or a perfect 64 grid of Creepers run at you? It's unusual behavior! So, yeah, it's planned, and you'll see, and good question.
And no, I will never, unless unavoidable, change something out of realism (or, the rules of this world) merely for the sake of an interesting narrative. While tempting, I like a story that pulls you in. It should be believable by the rules that have been defined.
Blitz, I'd recommend a screening process, or some sort of audition, in order to be able to act. Especially considering the fact that we might need more people not run by AIs some time soon...hinty hint hint.
It look's like my last post didn't show up for some reason, but I'm just letting you know that I'm always reading and keeping up even when I don't have enough time to post :tongue.gif:. Also, if you need more people, I'd like to volunteer. And another idea, I think it'd be easier and far more epic to have one HUGE SAUL for everybody to defend and stay in, it'd be like in the story, but bigger and better to fit more people in.
SAUL is one of those one-time-only deals. It wouldn't really be SAUL otherwise, it'd would be a giant awesome base. Instead of a giant AWESOME awesome base.
But I'll think about it.

Somehow I don't think it's a glitch. When snow worlds were created it snowed everywhere. He probably has to do some coding to make it so it only snows in certain areas. Otherwise if he kept snowing it there would be a chance there would be no biomes at all, and just a huge snow biome. Yes, biomes would still be made, just they would be covered up by the snow, therefore defeating the purpose of biomes.

And I think you're almost right. Rather than have it snow everywhere, he'd just make it snow only on snow biomes. The issue with that is that it would look FREAKY, and there'd be no way to properly measure where a snow biome was and was not. But I'm sure he's thinking up something good.
For filming, hosting a public server at all would be stupid. Of course.
I was thinking, a PUBLIC server, for use of all people. You know, make a SAUL layout, and when a new user got added to the whitelist, make them a personal SAUL and set that as their home, then let them join! Have everyone be able to start massive armies!
...and put spawners EVERYWHERE.

You should do this in smp and get a ton of people to get the pigman skin even though you would have to recreate your own nether and hack in a ghast spawner or something idk...
I've thought of this, but the problem is the chance of "text-griefers" so to speak, where, in the middle of filming, there would be a random "HI YOUTUBE" or "B0OBZ", and even though we can ban people, it can become very time consuming and annoying. So, what I had in mind is that we would find a colony of pigmen, build a settlement around them, then change Galaxy's skin or my skin to RALPH, and work from there.

If we could simply mimic a trap mentioned in a story, but don't elaborate towards the building/structure of the entirety of SAUL, would that be acceptable? Otherwise, we'll probably hold off on filming and such, and work more on scripts and preparing the server.

So anyways, may we have permission to use your story/characters/derp in our movie if we give you credit for the story elements? It would be greatly appreciated, and we'll send you the link as soon as we're done with it.
