Heh, I wonder what modding is like for 360 :)

Unfortunately any modification of an xbox 360 game would get you banned from live ... unless of course you keep the console offline after you have downloaded what you want. Bethesda tried to get some buzz for mods for 360 and PS3 for Skyrim though there was never any official comment made by Microsoft or Sony. Though I imagine it would be a very long and unnecessary process due to Microsoft and Sony having to hand check and approve every bit of DLC and/or title updates (or Mods in this case) for their consoles. Therefore I doubt it will ever happen for those of us with inferior rigs that have to settle for the console versions of many titles that are much better on PC (ie. any Bethesda game Minecraft and the like.)

Im just glad that I can run Minecraft on my POS rig I just wish I had money for a new one so i could get Skyrim and FO:NV they have some awesome mods out there (Macho Man Randy Savage Dragons Anyone? -P)

Hey Raust! Long time no see. Sorry I haven't been playing much Minecraft since the official release but its good to see this mod is still going strong. I may pick up Minecraft again soon and just checking to see if some of the mods that I used to use are updated for me to use and this one was a must look up.

Hope to talk to you again soon :)

Keeping in problems again...Sorry ,can someone help me?I reinstalled Windows Xp SP2 with SP3 and now i can`t see the hidden folders and files. Some suggestions?(Tryings that failed:Entering in Application Data with run=the computer restarted;Toggling on the Show Hidden Files And Folders=I do enter in tools but there dosent appear the Folder Options tab;Same way from previous one but from Control Panel=same thing... i can`t see the folder options;Searching it with Search option=it maked same at first one try when i entered it;Putting the folder options tab in Tools=i press to enter on it and it dosent appear)Another suggestions?

The show hidden folders option is under the view tab in folder options and try running %appdata% (with %) from the run menu it should open the folder for you regardless of your view option

Alright guys, I'm considering Doggy Talents feature-complete, and now we're just in bugtesting phase before I move on to multiplayer.

My next project will be along the same general theme:

Take one of Notch's poor, neglected ******* child updates and do what's necessary to make it useful.

So next in line for that treatment is:

Maps. Maps could be so useful, but they're so shallow right now that there's really not much you can do with them. I plan to change that.

I agree Maps are kind of useless and really bastardized and most minimap mods make them completely pointless to even use. I did see one mod that lets you place your maps on a wall and copy maps that was pretty cool. You could put up an entire world map on your wall but still rather useless.

    it's a wolf not a dog.

Well they're both canines so what difference does it make?

And furthermore dogs evolved from wolves

Definitely sounds interesting ... but I think I am going to have to refrain from downloading this until it gets a little further into development.
I have this marked as watched so I will be back sometime soon to see how the mod is coming together.

Random thought you should add the last update date to the OP (or keep a running mark on the change log) So we can be sure to have the latest version of DoggyTalents without having to check our mod version. Just a thought and not really necessary but it would be nice.

Alright, I've decided on the last skill!

PuppyEyes, which makes villagers give you presents from time to time when you visit them!

Next step is to add the button leveling system!

Adorable and what items would be included in "presents"

    Quote from RaustBlackDragon

Yeah, the button leveling system is looking SO much nicer! Once I do this and add the last skill, I'm going to focus on multiplayer!

And YAY no more having to know what item gives what anymore :-P

I'm going to work on a button-based level up system, similar to how Level Up! works.

It would be much appreciated for this type of leveling system

Are you still open to last minute suggestions for more doggy talents? Well I've got two.

The first would be self medicating/feeding. You could have the dogs eat meat that's lying on the ground, leech hp off of fresh kills, or give them a one slot inventory (their mouth) that they could use only for food, kind of like how the raptors in the Fossil and Archeology mod will eat the meat they're holding in their mouth if they're hungry or injured. Higher levels could help heal other dogs, and if they have the pack puppy skill as well, they can pull food from that inventory too.

I'd like to expand on this further to be something like a Medidoggy where if the wolf has the skill it will heal an aoe (only other wolves/pets and you) by .25 hearts per 10 sec and up to like 1.5-2 hearts every 10 sec at max level

    Really? Like which?

Zan's minimap for one and there's lots of others that the owner/mod maker doesn't reply or has said they are done
