Thank you for your response. I tried stopping the server fro a few minutes before I downloaded the file. Hopefully you will be able to see something this time. This is a new world that I started in SSP yesterday and then moved to the server. The region files in the SSP save look normal to me, but as you can see from the attachment pic below, a lot of the region files on the server are greyed-out. I think this is what you meant when you said they were missing. I'm not sure what is causing this. The files were all there when I moved them to the server but then immediately greyed out. My son and I are so frustrated. I have been reading a lot online, but I can't figure out what would be causing this. It happens every time I start a new world.

This is not the same world that I linked to yesterday. I know there was something fatally wrong with that because I could see we were spawning in a corrupted chunk. We just deleted it.

The new world is here: https://www.mediafire.com/file/u2sahb2vkhe7jxu/net2ftp-1508771684.zip

I look on the file u sand and im sorry to say the world is gone.
Its look like many region files are missing, and that in all worlds. (Over world , nether, The end and other)

Dont be sure if u PC/Server got trubbel with his Harddrive or is the mod server have trubbel to run stright.

Im not 100% sure but i think an Leptop isent the right choise to run an Moded Minecraft server and also play Minecraft on it at the same time.
If u have an old PC with Windows 7 or later (or linux) i sugest that u use it for the server alone. Also i sugest that this Machine need 4-6 GB Ram if u use Modet Minecraft.

P.s.: Sorry my bad english. Long working day and some Servertrubel still in my haed. ,-)

Ok I think after doing some more research I understand what you are saying. Basically there is no way to salvage the World we had. Yesterday I loaded a new map and we started over. I'm already concerned that there is a problem with the new map though. If you look at the attached file, the chunk that we are spawning in does not match up with any of the surrounding chunks. It is a very clear and distinct square on the map that doesn't match up. The square also appears to be a vanilla square even though we are using a modded server. Once you get outside of that chunk you can find trees, ores, and other stuff from the mods, but none of it is visible in the original chunk where we are spawning. My concern is that there is something wrong with the new map already and we just are getting started. I don't want to invest a lot of time in it if it is already corrupted. Could you possibly take a look? Can you let me know if there are issues and if so, can they be fixed? Or do you know where we can download a map or maybe you can post a link to a map that does not have corrupted chunks? Thank you so much for your assistance.

Thank you for trying to help. I'm not sure I understand what you mean about the world being gone. My son is still able to login from his desktop and play. The server is hosted through another company that specializes in Minecraft hosting. I'm only using my laptop to play. I don't know how to go about deleting the world we have so that we can start fresh. How can I prevent this from happening in the new world?

Hi! I am hoping you can help. I'm a Mom of two boys (ages 16 and 10) and I recently set-up a server for us all to play Minecraft on. I have been having some issues over the past week that are way beyond my scope and after doing tons of research online, I think I have some corrupted chunks. The first clue happened last week when one player's entire build completely vanished and another player's build partially disappeared. It looks like a large chunk was perfectly removed from the building. I didn't realize what was going on at the time. I'm new to all this. Then yesterday, I started crashing the server every time I logged in. It gets stuck on the Downloading Terrain screen and then crashes. My son has been able to login fine. I couldn't find a file called minecraft\saves on our server, but there was a file with our server name and in that file, I saw the region files, and the level.dat and level.dat_old files you mentioned so that is what I uploaded. If these aren't files you need, please let me know. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!
