In case anyone is interested, I created a tutorial for Thermal Expansion in GERMAN for version 2.2.0 for MC 1.4.7.
I wanted to use a version that's used in the current "final" FTB packs and making update videos seemed to be easier.
I'm fairly new to pretty much everything (editing, uploading on Youtube etc.) so I'd appreciate some comments.

I've seen a tweet by Soaryn that he implemented (?) a way to generate ores after having started a 1.5.1 world already. Do you think you could add something like that as well? I'd really like to use Thaumcraft once it's finally 1.5.1 but having to wait for 1 or 2 mods to upgrade just to get the proper world gen can really be annoying after some weeks. (Yeah I know about Mystcraft but I don't really want to create some random Ages just to search for hours for pages, beside I wouldn't really like to explore Mystcraft without proper armor)
I'm kinda messing around with some mod combination to see what I want to keep and remove when they all finally hit 1.5.1 but I always get this error message when I try to give my clone something. What exactly does it mean?
Oh, btw, there's no download for 1.4.7 in the first post (no, there's nothing in the "previous mods links)

I wonder why some people are actually crying about the "infinite" ressources. It took me days to find enough essence to finally get some diamond going. If I had spent the same time on searching for diamond I'd have more diamond by now then the seed got me back.
In addition, I have huge amounts of seeds in 1.4.7
I can only imagine that in 1.5.1 you get less compared to 1.4.7 (since I sometimes got 3 seeds)
Anyway, just playing in a single player world and I can imagine servers to have bigger issues with people having everything for free.
Back to my other question. I can't update since Buildcraft and some other mods are still running on 1.4.7 and therefore I need to ask. If my plants are being harvested by golems do they now get some magical essence as well or is it still like in 1.4.7?
How much flux do I need to get angry zombies? My flux level has been in high for a while now and recently changed to dangerous. All I get is vanilla zombies. I saw a lightning once and heard some wisps a couple of times. I've seen and fought them spawning regularly at a purple mystical structure with a chest in the middle far away from home.
They spawn at night (or dark places), just like regular zombies. They have red eyes and move faster than the normal Zombies
And yes, a config file has been implemented for the next update.
Awesome. In case you're interested, the problem seems to be forestry on my end. The crash log says that the ID 5000 and shifted 5256 (whatever that measn) are already occupied by forestry.
I'm really sorry for double-posting but I think I've found the problem.
I don't know why but for some reason it was Atmosmobs. I've used it for days without any problem but I guess one of the newer mods I've isntalled (maybe BOP?) didn't really like to work with AtmosMobs.
After I've removed the mod, loaded the world and ignoring the "ID missing" message I didn't experience a single lag after 1 hour (and they usually started after like 5 minutes)

I'm having a problem with my minecraft and maybe someone else had the problem as well.
I'm running, according to Forge, something around 40 mods and everything seemed to work fine.
Until one day i noticed some kind of "lag". Not a FPS drop or whatever but everything is delayed.
Sound of placed or removed blocks is delayed, damage on mobs, pretty much everything that is not done by me (the bow animation is still ok, but the arrows are delayed).
Before I have to go through the pain of having to uninstall several mods, backing up my world over and over again and before I have to search for a minecraft.jar for 1.4.7 I thought I'd give it a try here first.
If you need a list of my mods just ask.
The only thing I installed before this happened (if I remember correctly) was a newer version of NotEnoughItems as well as updating my ChickenCore. I also added Biomes O'Plenty but i don't think that's the problem since I'm getting those "lags" everywhere, even in vanilla biomes.
In addition, i was trying around with MCEdit and repopulated my desert biome for new ores.
The lag is slowly starting at the beginning when playing my world and gets worse and worse until I close and reopen Minecraft.
If you need any more information just ask me. I hope someone else had that problem before.

Before I have to go through the pain of having to uninstall several mods, backing up my world over and over again and before I have to search for a minecraft.jar for 1.4.7 I thought I'd give it a try here first.

The only thing I installed before this happened (if I remember correctly) was a newer version of NotEnoughItems as well as updating my ChickenCore. I also added Biomes O'Plenty but i don't think that's the problem since I'm getting those "lags" everywhere, even in vanilla biomes.
In addition, i was trying around with MCEdit and repopulated my desert biome for new ores.
The lag is slowly starting at the beginning when playing my world and gets worse and worse until I close and reopen Minecraft.
