I tried dyed leather. But it seems like monsters can see you even with one piece of armour but it takes longer until they notice you.

1- more flexible lighting with complex light/shadow and the ability to actually carry a light source without opening a black hole in the space time continuum
2- more flexible liquid handling, maybe water and lava will act in more interesting ways forcing players to seek out water sources and all that jazz!!
