To whatever poor sod sacrificed time, effort, and small children to the dark gods in order to convince Mojang to implement horses: Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. You have fought long and hard for a great many unheard voices in the community. Your efforts will be remembered for ages to come.
(No, really. By the time VR comes out, Minecraft is going to be f***ing amazing at the rate things are going!)

Simple. Even though it's slow to release, the content is good, the complete project looks promising and considering I only play Minecraft casually - and with about six other modded clients in different directories - the pace simply means that my Pokemobs world is a build world when I want to play it. I'm in university myself - I understand just how much time it can eat up, especially when you have other, equally important commitments to meet as well. There's no reason to stop following the mod just because the mod maker takes a while to update, even if there's faster updates from the other mods. Each has its own style, and I like this one's well enough to not really care about the time it's taking to finish.

Don't bother looking the reference up. He's pathetic, an immature idiot who's popular for yelling and swearing at his camera.

Tauros?
Because it's only temporary. Town generation is being fixed, then re-implemented somewhere down the track.

If you keep on with this line of development, this mod may wind up becoming similar to Mo'Creatures in scale
You could, perhaps (if you can figure out how to code them in) make the queen ant spawns into mini-dungeons around the lower part of the map, with the ants eating through stone blocks to reach the player?

Congrats! And I know, just throwing it out there

Unfortunately, no it is not Not without something that allows you to manually spawn it.
And in regards to Porygon - PLEASE don't post the solution! More interesting if everyone goes through the effort to find it themselves.

On topic: For wild Pokemon the existing system is fine (realistic at the very least, and your pokemon gain experience from taking damage), but I do agree that there should probably be some sort of flagging system for trainer battles with other players and multiple NPCs at once. Perhaps a typed command for SMP would change your PvP status toward a player from hostile to neutral/friendly?

I don't believe there's anything wrong with this. It's difficult to get because very few people know how, and that's the way it should be A little effort for a decent reward is a good thing in most cases.
I'm surprised we don't get more scammers on these forums... not that I'm complaining, of course >.>
They weren't serious, if I recall correctly. Only solid hint we have is that it's PC-related.

We do know it's something to do with the PC.

Hockey is a sport in which the players compete against those on the other team. Beating the **** out of the other team is not necessarily a sport unto itself, is it? Neither is there much that can be done to truly discourage such actions in their games, since if somebody's willing to do it despite the rules the only thing that's really going to stop them is keeping them from playing in the first place. Griefing is to gaming as violence is to sports, in both cases: an activity attributed to a certain sport - sometimes with minority deviations that treat it as a sport - but not really a sport unto itself.

You could easily create tools to make the examples he provided easier. Technically speaking, a tool is anything that makes a specific task easier. Bottles make the collection and consumption of fluid easier. Stoves make cooking safer and more efficient. Forums make communication between social groups faster and easier.
To take the example he provided in the post after the one I've quoted to an extreme, there's also community sites for paedophiles, hackers and the like. These groups tend to have a collective interest that they enjoy, but the practice of that interest is not healthy, safe nor conductive to their communities in any way, shape or form - least of all entertainment.
Having the tools to make a thing more efficient does not apply official status or sanction to an act in any way, shape or form.
Having compared griefing with those sort of extremes myself, I do have to point out that this is a bad argument. Despite the fact that the act is on par with things that are assumed to be done by people with impaired social/mental faculties, they can easily be done and enjoyed by people of sound mental status.
Arguing that people who enjoy doing something that pisses other people off means they have a mental issue is simply a way to dehumanise the responsible party in order to justify being an asshole to them, and it's a pretty weak excuse. If you're going to hate them, at least come up with a legitimate reason, rather than using a hollow cliche coined by someone who can't handle their anger. You wouldn't class a child as mentally impaired if they **** off their parents in order to get attention, do you?

Evolution must be done manually via the pokedex.
Fly, not sure if this will work, but try installing Rei's minimap as well. For some reason neither modloader nor modloaderMP would work without it for me, but once I installed it both worked perfectly.

Correction: We don't want people posting in the thread flaming Pokemobs with 'I like X mod better' as their excuse to do so. There's nothing wrong with saying you prefer another mod, just don't bash on ours in the process.
