Hey, thanks a ton for updating this! I've had people nagging me to update it, but I was away from Minecraft modding for so long (not to mention hardly playing Minecraft) I couldn't just dive back into it. I'm gonna officially endorse this update on my YouTube videos, if that's fine with you.

Also, thought you might like to know, quad buffer does diddly-squat. I would suggest replacing it with the squashed side-by-side mode some people are requesting. Definitely keep the non-squashed cross-eye, though, as that was my crowning achievement. :P

    Again, thank you.

You could create a couple of .bat scripts to automatically copy it to and fro with a double click.

However, that isn't gonna do a damn thing for your download speeds if the limitation is outside your home network, which it most likely is.

/probably too old and obscure a reference for this crowd.

    Monty Python, I presume?

I have only Netflix to thank.

EDIT: And now, with a quick Googling, I have confirmed what I thought to be true.

I haven't been in a programming mood, but I plan on updating this for 1.7 (adventure in 3D!), and may (maybe, possibly, but probably not) update it for 1.6.6 to prepare for any changes to the Minecraft code since the last update. I just wish Notch and Co. would hurry up and establish a proper modding system, because honestly I'm just not that into programming.

Again, sorry for my lack of interest. These things come and go.

We need a new tool, a tool, that shall be, shears! I really hate destroying wool, because I myself think it takes too long. Maybe these can break wool as fast as glass breaks?

Um, that's coming as an official part of the game in 1.7. Kinda pointless to make a mod now.

This is my first go at a narrated Minecraft video (though actually something like my fifth attempt at this specific video). It demonstrates my (imperfect) method for transporting boats uphill automatically.

And here's a video of it being used to load a boat pez dispenser:

I actually can tell the difference between 30 and 60, but then again, I'm a video nerd (and also a filmmaker). However, I'm not a snob about it. In fact, most of the films I make are 24p. :Pig:

I can't say for certain from the image, but it looks to me like the hatch isn't doing anything at all. Pressing the button activates the powered rail, and would work exactly the same with or without the hatch.

    Taken from here:

The human eye is capable of seeing at least 220 fps. I believe everything else in this thread has been explained adequately.

A definite fallacy going on here. Due to such effects as persistence of vision and after images, being able to see and interpret an image that lasts 1/220th of a second does not equate to being able to perceive 220 fps. I'm not saying that we can't see a difference between 60 and 220 fps, simply that that study does not serve as adequate evidence for such a statement.

Also, everyone seems to be glossing over the fact that MOST monitors are limited to 60 fps. Anything over that is simply a waste of resources and can even introduce artifacts (tearing) into the image.
