Has the lag issue been fixed? I'm finding it almost unplayable :/ Is there a workaround? I've got binary pathing on, but it still turns to crap quickly and is unplayable. (2x3200ghz processor, 3GB ram, 512 video card)
I have been experimenting with custom shaders which could allow OptiFine to use Antialiasing and Anisotropic Filtering. The only problem is, they require relatively modern GPU. Compatibility with the GLSL mod is currently not planned.
I'm not sure if it's really worth it. You can already easily force AA and Anisotropic Filtering if you use an Nvidia card.
FOR EVERYONE THAT IS HAVING THE ZOOM CHAT PROBLEM:
In the title screen(or if you're in-game, hit Esc), click on Options, and then Controls.
CHANGE YOUR CHAT OR ZOOM KEY TO SOMETHING ELSE!
Hit Done/Ok.
???
Profit!
It is a non-issue. You can change the CONTROLS key bind for the zoom to something you don't press in chat.
That's not a solution. It's just avoiding the issue. I'd be like telling someone to change what keys they use to walk around, if there was a bug where pressing them while in chat would still make you walk around.
This is a pretty good idea, but what happens when someone favorites two of a pack's beds for instance? Which one should it select? The one you've most recently favorited? I'd hate for people to not favorite a texture simply so that it selects a certain option in the row.
Well, I actually thought the point of favouriting a texture was for it to be auto-selected, it surprised me when it didn't.
Either way, there should be some way to have the textures automatically selected on load (unique URL?), having to select them all every time makes updating very time consuming.
American light switches are of the "up is on" variety. Unless the electrician was lazy and put it in upside-down. But based on text direction, up is on.
Key word being American. Minecraft isn't made in America, so why should it have upside down switches?
Has the source code been released for this? I don't see a link and Google gives me nothing.
I need to make a change to the RenderBlocks class (cv.class) to fix switches so they work like a normal switch would (up is on, down is off). I have no idea why anyone in their right mind would make a switch be off in the on position and on in the off position but it's an easy fix.
Otherwise I'll just have to stop using the mod. Having switches that make sense in a logic circuit is more important to me than graphics mods right now.
Down is usually the on position with standard levers (at least with any switch/lever I've ever owned). You're probably thinking of the "mad scientist" switch, where up is on.
Is there any reason that favouriting individual textures doesn't make them get automatically selected when you load the page? If you're using a texture pack that has a lot of textures you have to spend ages selecting the textures you want whenever you update it.
Hmm, even with those seeds I'm not reproducing the bug :\ Can I have the zipped worlds? At least I'll be able to check exactly how the holes are, it might help.
It doesn't appear to have anything to do with the terrain it's built on. Even on a flatgrass map, while building a simple carpenter's house (which should require no diggy diggy hole at all) it still happens.
And no, I can't send it to you, it's 1GB. I kind of went crazy with the MCEdit generation. :tongue.gif:
Also technically wrong, in this scenario.
The human eye has some strange qualities about it, to be sure.
However, in this case, it'd be limited to your MONITOR'S REFRESH RATE, not what the eye can see, so that's a completely unrelated number. Most monitors are 60Hz => 60 FPS
120 Hz displays do exist. However, as I recall, they are for the most part only used to run two 60 FPS sequences in alternating-frame 3D, because the difference between 120 FPS and 60 is mostly unnoticeable. Most power grids in the world use 50-60 Hz AC circuits, which, provided your lights are powered from the power grid, actually causes them to flicker that many times a second. But you can't see that, can you? :tongue.gif:
It's only limited if you have vsync on. I personally can't stand running Minecraft at 60FPS, it feels very sluggish, and anything under that is just unplayable.
Oh no, the chunk update flickering from HD_E_MT is back in HD_MT_G.
You're redirecting people to the wrong bugs page! Known bugs/latest is for release versions, you should be linking to Known bugs/latestweekly for weekly versions.

Use normal pathing, binary isn't threaded yet.

No it doesn't, only if you're using an ATi card.
Also, HD cloud rendering seems to be having some... issues.

Yep. What about it? It's done at a random offset on purpose to make it more wild. Complain to Notch if you have a problem with that.

They're just fences (although the functionality of being able to toggle them on and off comes from BetterBlock's Bridge block).

I don't think hl.e is one of Millénaire's classes, some other non-modloader mod must be causing the issue here.

They leave stone on the surface sometimes. (Also floaty tree trunks??)
Grass window seals?
And, :foxnews: CRAZY LADY DESTROYS EARTH! MORE AT 11! :foxnews:
She's building a quarry, apparently. A bloody big one.
Edit: Oh no, she's let the water in now.
Well... this is certainly the strangest looking quarry I've ever seen.
