My biggest gripe is minecraft servers. Literally joining a server that looks good but turns out to be absolute crap, or that it goes down within 3 days of going up. I'd really like to see more wacky/different servers, tired of the same boring pvp/survival servers.
What Do You Enjoy Doing Most in Minecraft? Gathering resources for a large project that I have wanted to do, and then finally being able to complete it after many hours of tedious work. I also enjoy doing random themes and designs every now and then for my builds.
Why Do You Want to Join the Server? I haven't experienced a genuine vanilla server for a very long time, I recall playing one some time ago, and it was very fun building a village with just the few of us. I really want to have that again, this server looks like it may offer that.
How Will You Contribute? Being friendly and willing to do tasks that others would not. I try to be on as much as possible if I enjoy the server. I do not mind helping others if I have ample time/resources also.
How Much Will You Play? I will try to be on at least 3 days a week.

Rust is pretty good (as said above). If I remember correctly, they are going to add some type of character creation/customization to it soon.
Dont Starve is a game you might like. It has multiple characters to choose from that offer different perks. Its a survival game, where almost everything wants to kill you, plus it's set in a dark, slightly humorous world.

who said you would be able to change your name multiple times? as far as i know it only meant 1 change, 1 more chance to get rid of a terrible name, i dont like my name, i didnt even choose it as a matter of fact. Even if no one would know what the original persons name was, and they did something like the horrid griefing that everyone is so frightened about, just ban them again.
not sure if you realize this but it wasnt a rant as you put it, he was saying what he thought was said, the yogscast put out this post to disperse all the mis-understanding, i dont see how you wouldn't expect notch to act like he did. if someone walked up to you and said "F*** You" would you thank them? no you wouldn't (im not saying they did this is just an example with chocolate and sprinkles.. but sometimes vanilla ice-cream. or how about pepsi?)
well this debacle is absolutely retarded, idc what the outcome is as long as i still get to play minecraft, however this won't sway me from buying skyrim, i've waited far too long for it to come out and im gonna play it cuz it looks fun. all in all they should just drop this stupid argument as it means nothing and will not benefit Bethesda even if they do win.
really hope theres something interesting in the nether, nether bricks are cool but hopefully that bridge is just part of say a series of ruins of ancient evil temples and what not
