the fps drops to 1-2 and when i open the menu (escape), it goes to 180 fps. I'm not in a laggy area, that is in a superflat world. I am using forge and optifine for minecraft 1.9.4
Can anyone out there make this for maps, or if it already exists link me to it? Maps are a lot more practical than a giant wall or floor. This might help: http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Map_item_format
pretty sure that isnt it. Top 3 are Javaw, chrome and dmw. CPU Usage stays near 50% while playing and Physical memory a consistent 90% I've set ram to 2G btw.
yup, I have optifine along with 2 chunk render distance on. Must be my graphics card... I'll see if i can get advanced opengl to work Also, inside my base, that would be just perfect.
I even changed cobblestone to a 1 pixel texture, so idk what the deal is. Theres no flowing water or lava or entities, just cobblestone and obsidian. anyone got any ideas for how to fix this?
So I've been into factions lately and I have a perfect base design in mind that would be almost unraidable. Getting to the point, it's made of obsidian, enchantment tables, and ender chests. Ender chests and enchantment tables are both counted as an entity and the base causes me Massive amounts of lag. When I look at the base, i get 7 fps, and when i look away i get 200+, so it definately is the entities. Is there any mod or way to get rid of those entities (such as editing the version.jar), and is it possible on a server? Thank you all so much! (sorry if this was a bad post, it's my first)

I'm in 1.8. What I want is the max coords you can see past the decimal. 5zig gives 4 instead of 3, but I need more. plz help thx xd

also, what is the advanced cave culling algorithm, because in the 1.8 version history, it says that they replaced advanced opengl with this.
