I went to the other side of the island and dug into the hill, after digging down for a bit found a abandoned mineshaft. Also using the AMIDST program found here there are Strongholds at x=736, z=672 and x=336, z=-172.
The first one is in the middle of an ocean and the second one is fairly close to shore so expect some flooding.
Has anybody named their island or village? I figured with rivers, oceans and other landmarks I would try and name some of them.

No what I mean is have code that connects to these sites in game not background, something like the proposed online stats only in real time as long as your connected to the internet
I think someone should set up an actually online radio sites to play several different stations playing live music to radios made in games connected to the internet or find a way to install the internet radio streaming sites people already listen to in game
I usually put an automated sprinkler system up on my wood buildings. Its based on the principle that when wood is burned away, water placed on top of it will flow downwards, putting out any fires.

I do this too. But I did a test run of that idea with some flint and iron and it doesn't always work
I went nomadic once, traveled several different directions before building a new base. Then one day I climbed a mountain and took my render distance from tiny to huge took a laggy few looks only to see that my original base was only a few dozen block away.
Yes I can only really play on Tiny and yet my pc still lags from time to time. It might be the reason all except one of my shelters is underground where fog is not that big of an issue
I truly would pay more attention in Digital Electronics if we were using redstone instead of using multisim. Already tried to play minecraft in DE, to bad they block the ip address so minecraft can't update
Oh god... The last time I fell into lava was the other day, while playing on a hardcore survival server.
It was like any day, mining for diamonds. I had found 6! I was so happy! :biggrin.gif: I was also looking out for iron, to build up for a awesome iron armor set. I was WAY above the lava level at this time, so I didn't expect to come accross any. I find some iron on the floor, and while standing ontop of it I mine it and fall into a lake of lava. ****!
well you did break rule number 2, don't dig straight down.
And last time I dided of lava it was from a bucket. note to others don't stand below the level that your placing the lava on.
Says the guy making random **** out of square shapes in a computer program designed to waste time while asking for things to do in said program on a related forum board.
