I'm really sorry but... Flash ads that are roll-over activated?

    *Ad Block engaged*

Ads on this forum should require a deliberate trigger from the user in order to activate or expand, and I don't consider cursor location as a deliberate trigger mechanism. Take that however you like.

Rolling over for 3 seconds or clicking is deliberate, how do you accidentally trigger these? I've not once done it.

    Eh, WHAT?!

Clicking is, BY DEFINITION, deliberate. Having your mouse on a page, ANYWHERE on a page and expecting action is NOT DELIBERATE.

Not to yell, but the whole point of having a button on a mouse is to identify deliberate action versus movement.

Equating the two is somewhat astounding to me.

Wow, cool. Thanks for the reply :smile.gif:

edit: My poorly worded question was referring to the site content and not Minecraft game content. You folks really need to work on your mind reading skills! I'll look up a crafting recipe for that :tongue.gif:

    What does this mean for:

Advertising? Will there be more? I just went to curse.com and the very first thing I got was a crappy full page timed ad. What kind of these will be required?

Does curse impose content/language restrictions over and above the current minecraft forum rules?

Will a "premium" curse account grant access to greater minecraft content?

Does the email address/information I've submitted to this website now accessible by curse?

Not to be a pain in the ass, I'm just wondering.

If I break something that wasn't broken, I revert back to the non-broken version while I fix what I broke. That's all I'm asking Notch for, just give us back the previous version to play for now.

Technically, the server admin could have saved the previous server jar and could revert back. In fact they should. Not that we do on the private server we play on but then I'm not bitching about reverting back :wink.gif:

    Ok, so now I ***** :tongue.gif:
The lag increase is noticeable though it seems much worse when manipulating water. The server owner even gets it sitting 5 feet from the machine running the private server. Everything else is alpha so I'm not carring so much about general bugs but performance declining to unplayable makes it a sad day

Server is gonna be regen'd when the update comes out. Basically, it will be a long 2X3 hallway deep underground, underwater and the gateway will be embedded in the wall of the hallway. The Ghast spawning/trap room is an enticing idea too. Perhaps with a flooded glass roof. Break a few blocks and drown the damn thing :smile.gif:

For travelling we'll just spam the portals around :tongue.gif:

posted a message on Get water out of an underwater dome?
For my underwater base I created a glass enclosure, filled it with cobblestone and then picked it out. I've tried 3 techniques: swim down and build a room with a stairway from the surface, build an adjoining room from a preexisting underwater room, and tunnel to the underwater surface from deep and build a room there. Its been in multiplayer mode so I can't be killed but I've always kept an eye on damage and I'm confident I could do it in single player without dieing, though I'd need plenty of food :smile.gif:
