Find resource packs and steal things from them, then you use all that crap to make your own. Right now i'm using a Faithful/Fallout hybrid resource pack.
Why? the item that is selected in the hotbar is a squire. That is how you are supposed to tell which one you have selected. It's based on the way it looks in Fallout so I see no problem.
A VERSION of it, I meant that it would be like an alternate texture.
For the mod with the inventory can they please be full squares instead of half squares? Like the item bar for instance, can we have a version of it where it is a full square?
Ok if you have any sort of video recording program it will most likely install soundflower on your computer (if you didn't have it already) Run quicktime and select audio recording, then at the right side at the middle there should be an arrow pointing down, click it and select soundflower(2ch) quality high, it should work.
I got the game because of a friend at school, I didn't want to look at any tutorials because I wanted to figure EVERYTHING out by myself. So the first thing I broke was a flower, so I thought you destroyed everything by clicking, so instead of holding the mouse button down I started clicking on wood and dirt, I thought the game was broken. I went online and started searching asking why I couldn't break anything ,_,
2.
When I built a house it was out of wood (Surprisingly to this day I have never built a dirt house this was in beta 1.3_01 btw) and I killed lots of pigs and but I thought food would stack, so I had an inventory full of food and no tools or weapons.
With the new resource pack you could turn records into songs from GNR, bows could be the hunting rifle. It should be pretty easy now because of all the changes. This is just an idea.
I think it would be a cool idea to have "ages" in minecraft. Basically the player could make certain recipes not useable until something else was crafted, these would be able to be changed and grouped. Ex. I make it so I cant craft sticks until I have made a workbench, or I cant make iron tools or other items until I have made a furnace. This would be useful for mod packs that add in new technologies. The player would have to start simple and would unlock recipes for other more complex items later on. If possible maybe there could be an option for xp, at level 1 xp I would get to unlock the ability to craft a workbench. This would be compatible with most mods hopefully and when you start the game you can press a bound key (such as F5 or something) to bring up a menu to configure what items you had to make before you unlocked new items.
I know this is confusing so I will try and sum it up: You can set things you have to craft first before other things are able to be crafted. I have no coding skills whatsoever, this is just an idea for any adventurous modders.
