    Quote from 123nart

Wow, twelve years olds dating? What has the world come to. By the way, this should go in the dating section.

"Dating" and actually dating are two completely different things. When middle-schoolers say that they're "going out" with someone, "dating" someone, etc. they just mean that they're sort-of-together with that person, and often it basically just means they're ACTING like they're together with someone. (Trust me, I'm in 8th grade.)

Anyway, as much as I really don't recommend asking someone "out" in a text chat, if you really think it's going to work, then go for it.

Yes thank you! You are one of the few that think the way mojang does. That being this game that we all know and love can go anywhere it likes and it can do anything that we want it too. The people that scream "MINECRAFT IS GETTING WORSE EVERY UPDATE!!!" Are the examples of why we can't have everything

"but we have had three bug fix snapshots in a row!" So what it's a few less bugs for you to complain about.

"Minecraft is too buggy!" You just had three bug fix snapshots in a row.

"I don't have my mod API yet and mojang is working on things like witches" it does seem out of place but if you think about it what do you have in some mods? Mob spawns only in certain areas of a world so you get witches and witch huts to experiment centralized mob spawning.

"Mojang hasn't kept there promises I still need my sky Dimension" mojang has now comitied a crime against the universe *sarcasem* and you get beacons and item sorters (1.5) and wither skellies and a new boss and villager trading and you can now get cobwebs with silk touch on shears! Who wouldn't want these things a sky dimension would be cool but I would rather have item sorters and cobwebs.

These are just some of the complains about minecraft. Throw anything bad about minecraft in minecrafts community's face and we will tell you that you're WRONG. Sucks for you haters

Very true... however, the sky dimension bit I find wrong. Item sorters are nice, though only "advanced" players use them, but the other stuff is very minor (though useful) compared to a sky dimension, which pretty much everyone will use. (if anything, newbs and noobs will use it more than other people, at least at first, but whatever...)

posted a message on What does everyone want for the next update theme?
I voted Exciting New Dimension just because of my sig... and because if done right a sky dimension would be awesome. If it was a "polar" (tee hee) opposite of the Nether (Floating land network that make up the same shapes as the caves of the Nether, cold, white "sky fortresses," water placeable but not fire, etc.) then it would be AWESOME, but actually a good ocean update, with perhaps some different aquatic biomes, would probably be better.

If it's enough where it takes two months to make, sure. If it takes a week to make, definitely not.

That's basically what I meant. One week worth of content doesn't really constitute a whole update anyway, maybe a .1 of an update (so 1.5.1), at least to me, so...

posted a message on Big, Giant, Awesome Feature?
I thought that perhaps rather than having updates with many parts and features (such as the Redstone Update) perhaps there should be an update focused on one HUGE, awesome, complicated new feature, such as red/other-colored dragons and Enderdragon AI improvement, terrain generation changes, Villager/Village improvement, or, most importantly, the Mod and Plugin APIs we've been waiting ages for. Well, what do you guys think of this?

posted a message on Biome Generation Overhaul
With this topic, I have no idea how to actually balance this out, so I won't try to, I'll just throw out some ideas and let you guys discuss it.

Anyway. I was thinking that perhaps rather than the game picking at random from a certain number of biome presets, it could choose a temperature and tree density according to some kind of rarity index thingumabobber and let most other stuff - height variation, ore density (!), existence of certain ores, maybe just Redstone and Emeralds (!), amount of rain/snowfall, amount of lakes, etc. - be picked completely at random between max/min values.

A third group of things - tree type, tall grass/fern density, existence of vines, etc., should be picked sort-of-randomly but only within reason for the temperature and rainfall level - for instance, in a VERY hot (end-of-the-scale), wet biome, you could have either just oaks, just jungle trees, or a combination of the two. In a mid-temperature and rainfall level biome, you could have birches, birches and oaks, oaks, oaks and pines, or just pines.

Biomes such as deserts and swamps can stay the same, though, since they are "different" and should stay that way. If ground type and existence of mini-islands were randomized features, you'd get odd results. (same if the swamp grass color could be randomly selected. Ugh.)

posted a message on Whats your build style?
Wooden, (nearly) 100% combustible houses built in trees, with multiple platforms with different necessary things (farms, pastures, etc.) and some semi-RP-ish stuff on some of them. Currently I just make stairs down to the forest floor, but I think I'd better start using water elevators. Also, I always build my house on the top of the highest hill in the forest, overlooking a large lake or ocean if possible, or else just a decent-looking valley.

...If not, then a stone brick or sandstone home in the mountains, nothing too big or fancy, just enough to hold what I need and keep me from feeling too claustrophobic.

Wouldn't grouped creepers backfire? If one explodes, the rest near them would probably die before they can explode too.

Creeper explosions can be special and cause others to pop when the explosion hits them, like pheromones or something.

posted a message on Using the Anvil to combine like enchantments
In my opinion using the Anvil to do anything to non-Diamond, non-Enchanted tools shouldn't cost any XP at all. Combining a non-Enchanted and enchanted (in that order) tool should cost nothing but wipe your enchantment(s). Naming Enchanted stuff should have a LOW flat amount for each material, like 4 or 5 for Diamond and going down from there (after all, it's cosmetic.), same with Diamond. Repairing enchanted stuff... well, that's a BIT expensive, and a chance of failure would be a better limiting factor than the need to grind... which is just lazy.

As long as he'll automatically go through Nether portals when you do, I would like this. Very cute, very odd, and very Minecraft. However, the texture should change a little bit, in my opinion.
