Recalibrated the quantum flux regulator.

that is a good idea, i too was surprised to see it just randomly all over the place. pretty damn messy. But whatever. I am glad for some new building blocks.
one more thing.... i dont ever, EVER use default textures because theyre ugly as hell, but the new stone bricks add a whole new dimension of ugly, they seem really rushed and honestly im quite surprised by just how badly done they look, im no artist but im almost positive i could do better!

They are not interesting.
Their improving mapmaking, but not survival! Weird!
1 guy made a giant mod in 48 hours. Yes, it added tons of content.
What these do in 2 months?
Nothing useful.
Dragons and pandas ARE confirmed future updates, but we will not get them
BIGGEST UPDATE AFTER ADVENTURE UPDATE?
Yeah, new particles and sunflowers!
Let's applause!

i dont like the new lapus block, the old one was so nice! But the coloured clay is a good change from the overused wool blocks in pixel art

First people say horses are too OP, so Mojang makes armor and saddle rare so that horses can't be easily obtained and now people say the nerf is pointless. Just can't win.

1) Makes the game way too easy to get resources
2) Makes mining a pointless task
3) I like to build underground without having to fill in massive areas.
4) They lose their magic as a "nice find" when you're tripping over them every 20 blocks.
5) It's just my own preference.

EDIT: After looking through some recent posts, I'm actually starting to become impressed by some of the changes being made behind the scenes... I just shifted from negative to neutral/positive-ish. However, I kinda would've liked to see these sorts of changes just after the game was released, then truckloads of awesome new content afterwards... (We apparently got the complete opposite)

I played since Indev, and I agree completely.

By going to a biome that has normal stone... You read my post wrong. Though IMO you should be able to make stone tools from these types of stone as well...

Heh, despite being The Aesthetics Guy normally, I don't mind the default textures... but the Diorite textures do look really bad... Waaay too much contrast and too much randomness in the noisemaps apparently used to make the bases for the textures. Non-smooth granite and andesite look terrible as well, though I don't mind the smooth versions.
Oh, also. "Secret features?" This is a testing snapshot, for Notch's sake. Not a "seecret update." Hidden features kind of ruin the point. Complete changelogs please.
