Notch built on the work made by Zachary Barth, not from complete scratch.
Oh yeah... infiniminer
Jul 25, 2013This item doesn't have much of a purpose. The more random things put into the game that aren't part of a system, the more unfocused and complex it becomes. If vanilla (the item) had more purposes, related more to items in the current game, or was part of a new system added to the game, then I would vote for it.Posted in: Suggestions
An example of when I would vote for vanilla: if new materials, foods, and machines were added to the game for a new system of cooking, I would vote for vanilla to be added as one of the materials.

It amazes me that he was able to program a complex game from complete scratch, and I'm even more amazed at how polished it has become! Jeb and the team must be wonderful programmers.Posted in: Discussion

A wise choice. If his ideas are similar to your though, I wouldn't waste time on updating this post and just join his.
I meant if he didn't post, but I'll join if he does post

Do you code games, programs, ect.? You can't just copy and paste you idiot, you actually need to redo a lot of stuff to make it compatible. All Mojang did was implement the horse into the game, they couldn't just copy and paste, that would be the extremely stupid of them on so many levels, why you would even think that shows how stupid you are.
I'm pretty sure they copy and paste some of it. For example, the dimensions for horses are almost exactly the same. I think it's the sprite class that they can copy almost exactly, but they have to make some additions to "function" (not really function, but kind of function) classes and block classes for it's interaction with the environment.

Seems like a good idea, but it needs more details. What kinds of boats can you build? What blocks can you use the build them?
I am retracting my support until this has more details.
You can use all blocks and build any type of boat. There's no reason to restrict it, right?

Excellent idea! I have a detailed suggestion in the works that I was hoping to post soon concerning this very concept, I hope you don't mind if I post it soon-ish. It's a little different, but it attempts to flesh out the mechanics for how I visualize it.
Go for it! I don't feel like taking the time, haha

I would support this, but this idea lacks details and development. Seems more like a wish-list than a suggestion right now
Until you fix it, no support.
EDIT: What I mean is details. How much harder would mobs get? Would they get buffed/changed? Would ore spawning frequencies get changed? How much lower would bedrock be?
I'm just trying to get the idea out there. You guys decide the details in the comments, and possibly other posts (ThePatriarc is doing this, look out for that post and upvote it.)
Wishlists have more than one suggestion, and I think this suggestion is unique enough to stand on it's own.

Yeah, ever since the build height got increased, I feel that the underground has gotten a bit slighted. At least add another 20 layers. With regards to mobs getting harder as you get lower, that was something I was going to post a few months ago, but chickened out cause I can't write a good OP.
This is stuff I wanna see in the game, but you need to add details first.
Since you and CrimzonJake are asking I might post details later, but I'll wait for ThePatriarc to post his/her ideas on this first.
By the way, nice username.

I think they will be really fun and you can get places fast, but I just hope they won't be too overpowered on servers.
I didn't even think about servers. I'm just imagining the ultimate griefer catching up to and killing all the noobs as soon as they go mine their first tree.

I don't really see how a passive mob running around will ruin the game for anyone.
I'm personally excited, we finally get an actual mount! And it seems like the dev had multiple horse skins when I saw a little sneak peak video, so it looks like we'll be able to breed for colors as well.
I hated installing the mod for the horses. It causes some complications, such as aggressive mobs not being able to spawn once you uninstall and not being able to tame wolves. It also lags my poor computer somehow.
Not only that, but I wont have to stress over waiting for the mod to update when Minecraft updates.
Edit: Lol, don't you think you're being a bit excessive with the tags?
