It does suck to have to use Forge which is pretty heavy for a small client side mod, though. Liteloader is great for this type of mod, and there's no excuse IMO if you use Forge, to not also use Liteloader.
If Matmos is your only mod, sure LiteLoader is great. If you want to add it to a modpack though, it's a pain in the you-know-what. The Curse launcher, which is more or less becoming to go-to for modpacks, already creates Forge instances based on whichever modpack you're playing. Add LiteLoader, and you now have instances inside instances inside instances.
Forge already creates a "Mods" folder. There's no reason, from the user's perspective, that installing a mod shouldn't be as easy as drag, drop, and play. That's how NEI/JEI does it, that's how Journey Map/Voxelmap does it, and that's how dozens (if not hundreds) of other client-side mods do it. Why should MAtmos be the one mod I have to install LiteLoader for?
We are planning on merging MAtmos with Presence Footsteps in the future.
Would it be possible to start moving away from LiteLoader when that happens? I know it's possible to run LiteLoader and Forge alongside each other, but it makes things unnecessarily complicated. All of the modpacks on Curse use Forge, all of the FTB packs use Forge, similar mods (e.g. Dynamic Surroundings) use Forge... it's pretty much the standard as far as modded Minecraft goes. Just seems like a logical step in terms of ease of use.
Just downloaded the newest version. Is the Alchemic Router still broken? I can link a source (i.e. Alchemic Calcinator), but after that, the router is useless, and right clicking a destination does nothing.
Edit: Ok, I'm slowly making progress. What do we do when we get the message, "Linked container has no connections remaining"? Trying to transfer aquasalus from a calcinator (already in the tank) to a (empty) belljar.
Is there any way to center or right-align text on fancy signs? Seems kind of weird centered text would be a vanilla feature but not in BiblioCraft (unless I'm just blind and can't find it :P).
The only way I have gotten ProjectRed pickaxes to work is if i set B:override.allBlocks=true, but then the mod mines huge chunks of smooth stone. Any chance this could be changed, either natively or via a config?
Hey bdew! Been using this mod ever since it was brand-new, loving it and using it with every update. I did have a suggestion though, would it be possible to add enchanted books to NEI? I don't know if it uses the same code/data/whatever as the bees and serums do, but if it's possible I would love to seem them. Thanks for the amazing mod, keep up the great work!
I too would support a 1.4.6/1.4.7 version of this mod, it looks insanely helpful for Feed The Beast users, which unfortunately is waiting on a couple other mods to update.
I didn't read the entire 88 pages but I can only assume from your recent replies that you live in the US. Isn't it sad that out of all the industrialized countries, the US has the worst yet most expensive internet coverage?
I do wish you luck. In a galaxy far, far away I once had AT&T and wasn't too pleased with them.
Why do you think Americans are so happy that something like Google Fiber has finally come on the market?
Can you provide a ForgeModLoader-client-0.log? Use pastie.org or similar.
Well I know the issue is because I'm not using the latest version of Forge, I'm still on version 4.7.22.539 which is the version included in the latest Feed The Beast build. Just thought I'd raise awareness in case any other FTB users are having issues. I can still post the log if you'd like, though.
No, it shouldn't. Tekkit steals mods without asking for permission, and has a terrible reputation because of it. I would like to see this in Feed The Beast, however, but that's entirely up to Shadowclaimer.

Thanks for the update! Look forward to seeing its progress.

That is fantastic news! I cannot wait til this mod is ready again, my Minecraft experience has not been the same without it.
