The smoke coming from his hand needs some work, it's a little too intense. The smoke around his body looks good but the initials, meh not so much. If your going to use this as a profile pic I would just use the guy (cut off the text) or a close up of his face. And a circular gradient background with some darker grays (or even dark red?) might be better.
Um, if you don't mind me asking... whats the point of the technic pack if your going to remove a major mod from it. Can't you just remove the items that are causing the problem? If you do remove the whole mod I'm going to find another server...

Guys, the sand block that looks like he's holding is actually just another block on the ground. I think the second thing could be oceans (although it could be part of the sky) or it's the thing behind the cactus, which is defiantly not another chest.
