    This is a WIP mod that strives to be a NEW and IMPROVED version of the Nether of Vanilla Minecraft. It is centered around the Greek and Roman myths of the Underworld, with the 3 different sections:
    • Elysium - Paradise
    • Asphodel - Limbo
    • The Fields of Punishment - Hell
    If anyone would like to help, I could use the following:
    • Coders
    • Graphic Designers for Blocks/Tools
    • Builders for Dungeons (.schematic files)
    If interested, please apply at the website.

    Completed:
    • Surface Blocks (Dirt, Stone, etc.)
    • Tools
    • Furnace-Like block and GUI

    In Progress:
    • Mobs
    • World Generation
    • Sounds

    Planned:
    • Portal
    • Custom AI
    • Other Stuffs

    My ultimate goal is to make this somewhat like the Aether; basically creating a new place for the player to survive, with unique stone, wood (or other base tool constructor), mobs, food, etc.

    When I get the basics done (World generation, mobs, blocks/tools), I will start distributing closed alpha and beta releases to test for bugs, and also for some feedback.

    Yeah I know, mine was the same way. They removed that functionality in OSX 10.7 (Lion) unfortunately, with the addition of native fullscreen apps, of which Minecraft was not a part.

    This is something I noticed while playing the latest snapshot.

    In 12w34a, the ability to do native fullscreen was added, something you had been previously unable to do on a mac. So I switched it on, and played for a while, but eventually i wanted to get on one of my favorite servers, so i downgraded back to 1.3.2. However, when I opened up minecraft, it was still in fullscreen! Even in 1.3!

    I am just posting this so that my fellow mac users know that they can now enjoy fullscreen 1.3 vanilla minecraft.

    Is there a download for this? It seems that some people were commenting on the testing chambers, but I couldn't find a download link. Will the map only be released when it's finished, or will it be put out uncompleted as a WIP?

    What you want to help with: I can do some simple java coding and I am good at graphics design. I am also a good creative thinker/Idea man
    Previous experiences: I have made some mods that add blocks, items, and entities into the game, but none have been made public.
    What sets you apart from other modders: I am one of the youngest aspiring programmers that I know (14) and I feel as if I know several methods that could be used for the past-self pathfinding.
    Examples of work: I have a few simple mods saved for 1.2.4. I could send them to you. The good ones are in 1.7 and I deleted them long ago

    P.S. - You should add a car/vehicle that can be altered for time travel. Once it reaches a certain speed (88mph?) it would travel to the chosen time period. It could use a flux capacitor which runs off of plutonium or lightning, and obviously those would be rare materials. (time travel can't be easy, am I right?)

    Hey, I'm happy to help with this mod. I have gotten started with something very much like this, but it didn't get very far. I can code mods, and I can also to textures, but no 3d modeling. If you would like, I could be of assistance with pretty much everything.

    The images were in dropbox, and unshared, so no one could see them. I'm fixing them now.

    posted a message on Help with biomes without modifying base classes
    i am working on a mod to add more biomes to minecraft, but I need help on how to add a biome without altering the BiomeGenBase class, which is a base class, and therefore i can't edit it and distribute it. I have already gotten the biomes made, and they are generated by minecraft, but in order to get them implemented it seems that I need to edit Base classes.

    I believe this is possible;

    If it isn't, please tell me.

    If it is, please inform me on how to do this!

    I have made an EXTREMELY basic mod, which changes the text in the enchanting table to English. The text doesn't actually correspond to the enchantment itself, but at least it's readable.
