OK I am stuck, I am trying to get Mineways 2.22 exporting half slabs on a mac. I need it to be in an stl file and each full block to be 1mm. I have tried every combination of tick boxes under the sun and cannot seem to make any progress it consistently outputs the half slabs at 1mm high. Suggestions anyone?
OK after messing around for hours I got NEI working on a local MinecraftEdu server and client, then sent off the collection of mod files to the server host I am using for a meetup this weekend and now CodeChickenCore is throwing errors when the client connects.
I ended up sending my entire server folder over and while it still works on my local machine (server hosted on same machine as client) it will not work on the remote server.
Anybody got any insight on this? I have no idea but at this stage I am going to have to pull NEI off the list of mods to discuss this weekend.
OK an update, putting the cfg files in my 'standard' minecraft install directory did not fix it when trying to join a local server. However running MinecraftEdu with NEI installed works on single player so there must be an issue with SMP. I will keep investigating, but any insight you can provide would be very helpful.

OK What is even stranger is now I have got it working, but the files are not in the places suggested in the install area.
CodeChickenCore.jar is in the server and client Coremods folder.
NotEnoughItems 1.4.5.1.jar is in the mods folder on the server and the coremods on client.
I have it working at least, now to add some of the plugins to see what happens.
Hi there, I am trying to use NEI alongside MinecraftEdu. I have placed the files in the correct locations both on the server and the client. The server launches fine, so does the client. When I try to join the server, the server log shows that I connect, but I get the following error on the client.
I have asked one of the developers of MinecraftEdu and he said that there is 'no path' to the config file that NEI is trying to create. I think this is due to the custom install path available in MinecraftEdu, so if you could tell me the path where the config file needs to be I will make the directory and see if that is indeed the issue.
THanks heaps.

Hi arthur_music I have a request, I know you were on a couple of months ago, so I am hoping you will come online again soon and see this message. I am currently working with the developers of MinecraftEdu and would like to get your proxy fix included in that, but the developer said you are not returning his emails. So I am trying to contact you this way, if you are interested or are happy for the developers to use your code in their mod please tweet me (@tickleme_elfman), reply to me here or drop a message on my youtube channel (EduElfie). Please it would be awesome to get this included so that students at schools worldwide can use Minecraft to its full potential for education.

OK just died in Lethamyr, made it 3 minutes into episode 10 which means I made about 2-2.5 hours in before the 'fail' screen appeared. I had at least 2 wools, and did much better than I expected. Oh well, have decided I am not qualified for a hardcore map, so figure I should do another that I have not watched an LP of, so easiest is Sunburn, but am thinking I might try Infernal Sky II. Anyone want to weigh in before I start?

But if the most enjoyable and fun thing for you is to set it to normal and give yourself a dirt block and a sapling... then go for it.
Wow, Vechs, have we got our grumpy pants on today. Make the maps how you want to make them, stop worrying about all of the people complaining that they are not what they want. You make great maps, and if they don't like them they don't have to play them. Cheer up buddy, you have a lot of support in your community.

Sorry for my terse response before. I regret hearing that you are having trouble with FileSwap -- I understand how confusing technology can sometimes be.
When you get to the webpage for one of my maps, it will look like this:
In order to download the map, you need to click on the button that says "Download Now". For your convenience, I have drawn a box around it in red in the picture, and drawn an arrow pointing to it.
One reason I like FileSwap, is that unlike MediaFire, there are not tons of obnoxious ads plastered all over the page. (And some of the ads are made to look like "Download" buttons, which is menacingly irritating.)
Thanks, and have a nice day.
Oh Vechs, starting that post with an apology for the terse response and then following up with the lovely polite, yet dripping in sarcasm, wording has just made my day. Thanks.

Hey all, I have been messing with export settings and size settings and would like to know your thoughts. is episode 7 of my Lethamyr C playthrough, which is 'old' and looks pretty ordinary and is episode 8, which should look much better. Would like to know if newer version is better, or if you know of any other way I can make it better. Thanks.

35 day save game on Unreal World. Had plenty of roast fish and turnips in my cellar, was slowly but surely making my house to survive the winter.
I go SQUIRREL HUNTING to try and get some friggin bits of leather to make some rope -- this sounds safe, right? Just a fun hunting trip not even that far from my base, and I run into a stupid, random-ass Nzjerp warrior in the wilderness and he kills me in a spear duel.
For those of you who don't know, Unreal World is "hardcore" as in you are your character. You die, that's it. Game over. And let me stress, that Hardcore Minecraft is painfully easy compared to Unreal World. (Although on thing planned for a future update is you can marry and have children, and if you die you can start playing as your child.)
Also, bears are godless killing machines and if you see one you should GTFO.
The reason I bring this up is this game has been an influence on my map making. I really just want to play a game like Unreal World, but in the Minecraft engine. Difficult wilderness survival FTW.
Sounds pretty close to Lethamyr, have a base, get set up, hunt for wool, die, start over. Right?
