Ive managed a tunnel, i tried an overground rail but i got annoyed as kept falling off when trying to build it haha

I dont know much about the game, so trying to learn but there is so much to learn, how young kids can be good at it blows my mind.

Thanks for the reply, ive managed to tunnel to the village although I think it may not be good but did find a couple of others surrounding it and managed to screenshot too.

Ive been playing about a month or more and this is the first world I've stuck with, ive gone into the nether, as nedded nether crystals for a redstone auto farm i was trying from wattles youtube, followed it but didn't work, possibly the new update or ive missed something.

Want to try and move on as getting a little bored but know next to nothing about the game.

Hello, I’m still a fairly new mine craft player, I’ve built a house, a few pens with animals in and starting a storage building as been collecting lots and lots of materials to start on the next phase of things, but....

I’ve been exploring a lot, hence why after a couple of weeks, mining, exploring caves, trying to find a village and getting lost a lot. I finally found a village the only problem it’s about 2000 blocks from where I spawned in and made camp, there was animals, long grass, trees and water, seemed a good place to start.

So the question is do I stay where I am and maybe make a really long tunnel or railway to the village or should I take my most valuable items and make a new camp near ish to the village, I’m pretty sure it’s the only one close by just 2000 blocks is a long way.

    Thanks for the reply.

im finding my touchpad is a little unresponsive especially when enemies are around or I’m trying to get sheep, but I’m running a i7 that’s about 7 years old, been thinking of upgrading to a new tower pc but everything half decent seems so expensive.

the dieing bit doesn’t bother me, it’s just I feel like I’m getting where I want to be and something happens and I’m back to the start again, would like to see some progression haha

    Hey,

thanks for the advice, I’m normally a console player but thought I’d try a new experience, as was a bit bored with lockdown.

with the controls I only really use w and the touch pad and left mouse button, but I have noticed that sometimes it doesn’t run and look the way I want to go and if I want a weapon my menu bar at the bottom always seems to be a different place so never seem to have what I need to hand.

    Thanks for the reply,

I don’t usually play on pc, I was torn between getting java or bedrock for pc. I went for pc to try something different, as the only game I usually play on pc is football manager.

i had seen about pairing a controller to my laptop but again thought I’d try the pc controls. I have a seven year old i7 (3rd gen) with a Nvidia GeForce gt 635 m graphics card, runs ok but have been thinking of upgrading for a while.

ill try and find the mod as the map looks handy.

I’m a new player to the game, I’m playing on a laptop and really struggling with controls. I find sheep to make a bed but end up dying before I can make a bed as I have lost my shelter. Is there anyway to make things easier, as at 36 I’m starting feel old that kids can master this game and yet I’m really struggling.

    hello,

Im a console gamer normally play fifa, borderlands, cod, gran turismo but fancy a change and thought of minecraft as something a bit different. Only problem is I have no idea about anything in the game. I have a few questions if I could get a few answers that would be most appreciated.

    1. Which version to go for?

    2. Are controls on pc hard to get used to?

    3. Is it worth modding the game?

    4. Is the ps4 version any good?

    5. What is red stone?

Any help would be most appreciated.
