This is a very simple thing to do,but some people out there still do not know how to do it.1st off you must be the admin or mod of a server to have these permissions unless a special plugin or mod on the server does otherwise.The regular command without plugins Example would be....
"Give" "Username" "Item Code(Dec)" then the "Item Amount.There are spaces between each word.To Op yourself or others, if you are admin, go to server manager,then type op "player name" and they or you will be opped.

Change your idea to a mod. not an actual part of vanilla minecraft. get a modder to make the mod. and then create the forum page. this would be an epic mod if you could get all the coding right. im sure there is someone who could get this done

This would make "Notch" a bit OP. if stone stuff doesnt effect him then iron would only do 1 heart damage tops. Also the way its all "go in and he screws you over" seems a bit unfair if they wouldnt know about it to begin with...

As you know,Notch is making "Bosses"In the 1.8 adventure update.I have a suggestion for a boss.For each seed,there should be a secret place underground close or semi-close to the spawn where the Big boss Notch will be.It will be a big City with Enderman all over it and Notch In a castle.He will be 6 blocks tall and 3 block wide.He attacks on site and if you run away he will leave through the entrance/exit you made and roam your Minecraft world.
The point of this is that if you do not close your entrance,Notch will Screw you over pretty much and if you kill him,he will drop 3-10 Diamonds and 20-100 Sticks Depending on the Difficulty you have chosen.
If you choose easy he will still roam around,except he will not attack even if you hit him.If you kill him on easy,he will not drop anything.

I really don't understand why hamachi is so often used.

As the 1.8 update grows near,I have decided that on the first day of th 1.8 update,I will randomly choose 3 people(If at the minimum 3 people submit)to go on and Extended hunting trip where we will build temporary bases to scout for and hunt Enderman.We will all stay together for an hour or more depending on the schedule of everybody and at the end I will let them into my Hamachi Server coming in Mid-September.Now I know its not an amazing thing to get but at least you get in Immediately.The only form I need you to fill out to qualify is very short and it asks for your...

Enderman:
- THEY DO NOT DROP DIAMONDS. It was a place holder for PAX. What they will drop is unknown at this moment.
- They are 3 blocks tall.
- They have a 2-block long melee radius (zombies, etc, have 1-block reach).
- they teleport behind you even at close range.
- They are PASSIVE until you move your cursor (the little + symbol on your screen) over them. Doing so will make them freeze, and stare at you. The moment you move your cursor off them, they will teleport beside you (or teleport multiple times if you are too far), and attack you.
- The distance at which an Enderman 'will see you staring at them' is unconfirmed, but seems to be at least 25 blocks away.
- Wearing a Pumpkin, and then staring at a Enderman seems to negate their ability to see you staring at them. Aka, wear a pumpkin, Enderman won't attack even if you look right at them.
- Their teleport tends to teleport them 2-4 blocks behind you, and not on top of you presumably for balance.
- (unconfirmed) their melee instant kills you if it connects. I highly doubt this though.
- Their eyes change from white, to green, under certain conditions. Perhaps when looked at, or are aggressive.
- Enderman Carry blocks, and create complex geometrical shapes and (unconfirmed) homes from these blocks. This feature is NOT in the Demo at PAX, but confirmed by Notch. These shapes presumably will have no purpose beyond looks.
- Water KILLS Enderman like lava, doing damage over time.
- They spawn in all biomes (need further clarification), but have no information if they spawn inside dark caves.
- It is unknown if their teleportation abilities requires line of sight to their victim, and whether or not they can teleport past walls and obstacles to reach victims.
- A 2-tall space should be safe from Enderman, due to their 3-block height, making them unable to attack at this time.
